Ralphs ClickList Review

Ralphs ClickList Review + Gift Card Giveaway

@RalphsGrocery provided me with compensation in exchange for this sponsored blog post. However, all opinions expressed here are my own based on my experience using this service”

Ralphs OutsideOf all the things that I have to do as an adult, grocery shopping is the one I enjoy. There is something calming about the routine in pushing the cart up and down the aisle. There is almost an adventure in seeing the items on sale and a joy at the end seeing the total drop down as those sale items become savings.

Despite the relaxation that I feel while shopping there are days that I know what I want, I know what is one sale and my only goal is to get in and out of the store.

Since our store was recently remodeled and as this transformation became complete I began seeing signage for a new service called Ralphs ClickList.

The Cat Kit: The Summer Kit – August 2016 Review

The Cat Kit: The Summer Kit – August 2016 Review

The Summer KitSummer is a constant “on the go” time, if it is not the beach it is amusement parks, family gatherings and even overnight excursions. Many times with all this travel the cats are left and home, and while out of sight, they are not out of mind.

I am a cat lady and proud of it and even when we travel our cats are never far from our thoughts. I love to have cat items sprinkled throughout my daily life. I have a cat wallet that sits beside a cat umbrella in a cat bag. My girl Maggee is also my background on my phone as well as hundreds of photos on my phone.

Since I love getting cat related items as much as my cats enjoy getting toys, I was excited to be given the opportunity to review The Cat Kit, The Cat Kit is a filled with 7 adorable items for cat and human and really is “purrfect” for any cat lover.

Deflecto Caddy and Carousel Organizer Review

Deflecto Caddy and Carousel Organizer Review and Giveaway

Caddy and CarouselI recently took up a new hobby – sewing. When I was purchasing my sewing machine I made sure to do my research and make sure the machine I chose had the stitched and features I wanted. I carefully chose those first fabrics, and the matching threads. I read the patterns instructions from beginning to end, and cut the pattern with nothing less than perfection. I purchased the supplies and felt confident that first time I sewed.

With all the things that I did do, there is one things I DID NOT do – storage for all the accessories I would need as a sewer. As a sewer there is a need for thread storage, sewing machine accessories, scissors, and other implements and notions. When Shoplet reached out to me about reviewing the Deflecto Stackable Caddy Organizer and the Rotating Carousel Organizer, I realized that this could be the storage I failed to get the first time around.

Fulcrum Gallery – Golden Wildflowers I Review

Fulcrum Gallery – Golden Wildflowers I Review and Print Giveaway

Megan Meagher Golden WildflowersOne of the most challenging parts about having a house is deciding on the various decor in each room.

After over 4 years in our home I am finally deciding how I want to decorate each of the rooms. For my craft room I decided on bright colors that would always inspire creativity, and the art in the room is my art throughout the years. Our living room is a mix of photos and sunflowers in a neutral palette. For our bathroom I went with a coastal/under the sea theme since we live on the west coast.

For our bedroom, I am still firming up my plans, but so far it is a collection of my art creations and various prints that evoke calm and relaxation. A couple of months ago I created a button project that expresses love. Since I have wanted to find a floral print that would coordinate well with the existing photos and prints I am always on the look-out. When FulcrumGallery.com reached out for a review from their “Timeless Chic” collections I was totally willing.

Stampin’ Up Moroccan Designer Series: DIY Dry Erase Board

Stampin’ Up – Moroccan Designer Series Paper and Washi Tape – DIY Dry Erase Board + Giveaway!

Love is All you needI have been wanting a dry erase board for our house, but I was looking for one in the 8 x 10 size range and preferably with a nice border or frame.

A couple of years ago my father moved out of his house, which meant that the “Wall of Jennifer” would be removed. The wall consisted of every school photo from kindergarten to senior year, with a couple of others added in. When he moved I not only claimed the photos but the frames as well. I was not sure what the plan was for all these random sized frames but I knew someday I would want them.

Since I was unable to locate the dry erase board I wanted, it dawned on me that I could easily make one with that simple frame that used to hold my elementary years. While I was reviewing the latest Stampin’ Up catalog, and when I came across the Moroccan Designer Series of Paper and Washi Tape the project came together in my head.

Zazzle.com: Summer Sunshine 2016 Giveaway

Zazzle.com – Summer Sunshine 2016 Review and Giveaway

PIllow and LIttle Miss Sunshine TshirtSunshine permeates everything I do and who I am to a degree. When I was young my father would make dinner reservations under the nickname “sunshine” and many times my default nickname for people is “sunshine”. There is something special and magical about the sunshine – it brings a warmth, light and overall positive feelings.

Since I am based on the Pacific Ocean, the sunshine is as abundant as water. Even on days when the sun does not shine, there is still a glimmer of sunlight that shines through. My house is situated that it benefits many days from natural light, which is wonderful for the humans and felines in the house. There is a brightness that shines living in the land of never ending sunshine!

On days that the sunshine is hiding, I love to be reminded of otherwise sunny days. I came upon Zazzle.com and immediately knew that they would have what I desired for those otherwise sunless days.

Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome – July 2016 Review

Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome – July 2016 Review

Mystery Box of Awesome July 2016I am a lucky girl, overall Jason and I get along and agree on most issues other than one – the outdoors.

When Jason was a young boy his parents would take him on 3 week camping trip each year in Mammoth California. Each year this trip would be attended by friends and family. Cookouts each night, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch and cereal for breakfast. There were even fresh pancakes with fresh picks berries.

I however, despite being a California girl, have never been camping. Well, that is not entirely true but my one and only camping experience included MRE’s (Meals Ready to Eat) and sleeping on hard rocks. To say that this was not a positive impression of camping that is a drastic understatement.

There have been conversation that have begun heading in the direction of my going camping and when I received this months Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome by That Daily Deal.com I felt like it was a sign that I should give camping a try! Each month no theme is chosen, but rather a selection of random gender neutral items that will undoubtedly meet a need in your life that you never knew was missing.

Cave Tools: Digital Cooking Thermometer Review

Cave Tools: Digital Cooking Thermometer Review

Cave Tools Thermomenter

As I have mentioned in the past, I am embarking on the adventure and challenge of home cooking.

The biggest problem that I have encountered since I began cooking is the application of heat and heat distribution. It was discovered that since I did not have a way of measuring internal temperature on roasts and meats, I was loosing a lot of juice and internal moisture, which altered the taste on the meats I was making.

A couple of months ago I had the change to review a meat tenderizer, so when I was re-approached by Cave Tools with an opportunity to review another item a Digital Cooking Thermometer seemed the logical choice. Continue reading

Jackpot Candles Summer 2016 Giveaway

Jackpot Candles Summer 2016 Giveaway!!!!

Jackpot Candle BurningAbout a decade ago, I developed a new hobby – candle making. I eagerly would search thrift stores for new and interesting places to pour the wax into and burn. I had a collection of different glasses and metal receptacles. I loved that I could spend a little time in the kitchen and the result was a candle that would burn far more hours than it took to create it.

The creation for candles did not last long overall, and in the grand scheme of things was fleeting. The one thing that remained was my love for candles. The difference is now my appreciation of candles. I can appreciate the artistry, time and effort that goes into creating these burning pillars of scent.

Jackpot Candles are different from the typical candles that you can purchase in stores. Each candle has a piece of jewelry embedded into the wax, as you burn the candle down, the small aluminum square reveals itself. The value of the included piece is anywhere from $15.00 to $5,000.00 and the value is determined by an online appraisal – enter your code and get a value!
