As we approach the first major holiday of the year, the planning begins, and being able to reduce the stops and get everything in one place becomes a matter of time efficiency.

Quite possibly one of the best and most time-consuming parts of the upcoming holiday is the building of the Easter baskets.

There are many ways that you can fill the baskets, and with Ralphs you can build a basket that is not only personal but also full of items the recipient will use.

Sometimes as consumers there are times when we want to call a company and make a suggestion but are hesitant that our voice will be heard. Many times these suggestions are jotted down, or emailed to the appropriate party and forgotten about, or so we think. There are times when a company will take it’s suggestions from consumers and put them into action in their products.

The suggestion into action concept came together with the Simple Truth line of products available at Ralphs. Simple Truth is a line of products that are free of 101 artificial preservatives and ingredients. A list was compiled from customers telling the company and brand what they didn’t want in their foods and Simple Truth was the result.

Vision and the ability to notice items becomes higher once our awareness is awakened and that is how the Simple Truth products were for me.

On a recent trip as I walked throughout the store I noticed that every category of food from crackers, baby products, paper goods, to dairy products was represented under the Simple Truth brand.

Ralphs 5-Day Sale – Hot Price Alert

January 18th thru 23rd 2017

I have a confession – I love to save money! I wish I could say that this attitude covers only a couple of items but it is universal and all-encompassing. I seek sales, coupons whenever possible.

When Jason and I began to co-habitate we had two different shopping styles. Jason would run into the store, and see the advertised sales, ignore them and more often than not, would purchase a different item. This method worked for him, for many years – that is until he met me and I told him he was shopping wrong and leaving money at the store.

It was not instant that he adopted my way of shopping, but I am proud to say that within a year he began seeing the savings potential and coupons whenever possible.

As luck would have it Ralphs is currently running a 5-day Hot Price Alert!

Ralphs ClickList Review + Gift Card Giveaway

Ralphs OutsideOf all the things that I have to do as an adult, grocery shopping is the one I enjoy. There is something calming about the routine in pushing the cart up and down the aisle. There is almost an adventure in seeing the items on sale and a joy at the end seeing the total drop down as those sale items become savings.

Despite the relaxation that I feel while shopping there are days that I know what I want, I know what is one sale and my only goal is to get in and out of the store.

Since our store was recently remodeled and as this transformation became complete I began seeing signage for a new service called Ralphs ClickList.

How Far Can $50.00 Go At ALDI – A Review

Aldi Haul 1“This post was sponsored by ALDI as part of Influencer Activation for Influence Central.”

I have to be honest and say that one of my favorite things to do is go grocery shopping. As I have gotten older I find a comfort in the rhythm and the ritual of shopping. When Jason and I moved in together we discovered that we could spend a couple of hours at a grocery store, and walk out and wonder where the time had gone. I think my favorite part is the combination of sales, discount cards and coupons – I like to save 50% or more without sacrificing quality whenever possible.

Recently there has been a new addition to the stores in my area with the addition of ALDI. ALDI might be new to Southern California but they are far from new in the United States. ALDI is one of the nations fastest growing retailers with a plan to operate 45 stores in California by the end of 2016.

I was recently given the opportunity to go to the new Vista store and see how far I could stretch my shopping dollars Continue reading
