I believe that the art of handwriting is slowly being eliminated from the skills people hold. Instead of being able to do clean brush lettering, people strive to have the most words typed from their smart phones.
Each year I write cards and notes, and each year I strive to make my handwriting better. I am always looking for books and step-by-step instructions to extend those skills. A couple of weeks ago I took a walk to the beach, and discovered that it is about 1400 steps from my house. As I took the walk up the hill that leads to the beach, I wondered if I would see any whales, dolphins or sand art. As I crested the peak of the hill, I began to smell the familiar smell of ocean air, and my steps increased. Once I reached the coast, I was met with blue skies, white water and so many surfers surfing.
