OCHO: Organic Chocolate Candy Review + Giveaway

When I think of decadent and delicious sweets, the first thing that comes to mind is Chocolate. Chocolate is versatile and the options for additions are endless.

Throughout my years, when I go to the store, I always look at the chocolate offerings at the checkout, but the quality seems to be decreasing as time goes on. I have been wanting a high quality chocolate bar that I can feel good about eating.

A couple of months ago I had the opportunity to try Ocho Candy when I completed a survey about their new packaging. I was so impressed with this sample that I wanted to try the rest of the chocolate available.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of OCHO. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received an assortment of chocolate bars and mini’s from OCHO, which is an organic candy company.

Caramel & Peanut – This is the Ocho bar and is made with smooth caramel, peanuts, and a peanut butter nougat that is all covered in milk chocolate. This chewy bar will take you back to your childhood summer days eating chocolate before dinner.

Coconut – This coconut bar has a creamy coconut center covered in dark organic chocolate. While coconut is not the top of treats, I gave this bar to a coconut lover, and the person loved it and asked me if I had ore and could get more!

Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter – This milk chocolate covered bar is made of a creamy peanut butter center covered in delicious milk chocolate.

Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter – Similar to the Peanut Butter bar, but covered in Dark Chocolate this bar is a peanut butter center covered in delicious dark chocolate.

Mini Variety Pack that includes (from lower left up and around to the right) Coconut, Peppermint, Peanut Butter and Caramel. The Coconut is similar to the coconut bar just miniaturized. The Peppermint is the perfect mix of peppermint and dark chocolate, and would make a great addition to the holiday treats. The Peanut Butter is similar to the full size peanut butter, and such a delicious way to get this flavor combination. The final flavor might have been my favorite, Caramel, which was was a ball of caramel covered in milk chocolate. The caramel is made of organic butter and organic cane sugar which makes a smooth and sweet caramel. Each bag came with 8 pieces of chocolate that are individually wrapped, which makes it nice if you want a sweeter treat on-the-go.

Each of OCHO’s Chocolate is made in the USA and made from 100% certified organic ingredients. The bars and mini’s do not contain any artificial preservatives or ingredients. In addition each ingredient is non-GMO and is made with Fair Trade Chocolate.

These are easily one of the best chocolates that I have had, and when you eat these it is obvious they are higher quality chocolates. If you want an organic treat, these are the treats for you!
