Enjoying Tea: Infuser Mug and Top Selling Tea’s Review and Giveaway

Infuser Mug and Best SellersAs a blogger and writer I keep odd hours. During these long hours the last thing I want to do is pump my body full of the energy drinks that I do during the early hours.

I have discovered that while highly caffeinated drinks are not a realistic option, an item like tea is a viable option. Back in May of 2015, I reviewed a couple of items from EnjoyingTea.com and thought highly of the company. Since I loved the tea I recived so much I was thrilled to recieve a couple of items for review.

Gourmet Nuts Spring 2016 Giveaway

Gourmet Nut Spring 2016 GiveawayIt has been mentioned in the past that we are a snack house. Each week when we do our grocery shopping snacks are a close second to the proteins we purchase.

Lately though we have been going through a new evolution of snacking – nuts and trail mixes. I recently noticed that when I am hungry int he middle of the afternoon fruit and nut mixes are easy and healthy.

Since we are trying to eat healthier we have a couple of requirements including healthy, natural and few preservatives and sugars as possible. Since we are heading into the busy late Spring/early Summer seasons I reached out to Gourmet Nut for a giveaway.

Frontier Soups Review

Frontier Soups: Corn Chowder and Tortilla Soup Review and Giveaway

Frontier Soups Tortilla and ChowderBeing a California girl the concept of cold winter nights mean something different to me than to other people. I did spend the first 6 years of my life in the mid-west and while I have faint memories of the cold, it is mostly memories made up of being told and reading what the weather was like.

There is a famous story in my family that occurred on my final plane ride to California. I was leaving Illinois at the end of December and as such was outfitted in a snow suit (a cute little red number with an apple on the upper right corner). When I got off the plane at Lindbergh Field in San Diego, despite the snow suit I knew I was in a different world.

Since i have long left my cold days behind me, as I have been a California Girl since the first step off the 737, I do love the cold. Despite this sunny and warm environment I am in, I long for cold nights. My favorite days involve rain, a footed onesie and a good bowl of soup! Lucky for me California is in the middle of a El Nino and rain is frequent for an otherwise dry state. Since I am a planner, I tend to stock my house and make sure I have soul warming foods.

Limoneira Lemon Uses and Review

Limoneira Lemons – Uses Review and Giveaway

Limoniera LemonsOne of my favorite scents in the entire world is lemons. There is no scent like lemon and it instantly evoke images of bright yellow color and a citrus filled fresh scent.

Since we are the humans to two cats that like to jump on counters, couches, beds and anything else that could be construed as a bed, safety in cleaning products is key. One day is occurred to me that my favorite scent was as versatile as it was good smelling.

Since I am on a quest to make the surfaces, and environment of our home safer for the humans and the cats, I was more them willing to receive a box of lemons from Limoneira Company to experiment with.

Lawless Jerky Review

Lawless Jerky: BBQ Spare Rib Review and Giveaway

BBQ Spare Rib Lawless JerkyAs I have mentioned in previous reviews, I recently attended the Natural Expo West Show in Anaheim. If you are unaware the Natural Products Expo covers everything from food, cleaning and personal care items. The show’s focus is highlighting and giving companies an opportunity to get their products name in the marketplace and to make their mark on the Natural Products category they are in.

One of the companies that I discovered this year at the Expo was a jerky company out of Arizona that has unique flavor and a fun story behind their start. Lawless Jerky was started when a lawyer thought he could bring more smiles from jerky than lawyering.

The thing that got my attention were theĀ  unique flavors that I had not seen before.

SunButter: Sunflower Spread Review

SunButter: Smooth and Chunky Sunflower Butter Review and Giveaway

Sun Butter Crunchy and SmoothSunflowers are my favorite flower. I have been a fan of sunflowers since my mid 20’s. The problem is that I have a hard time purchasing these flowers because as beautiful as they are they do die, and once that process starts they lose what makes them unique. To solve this problem I have invested in silk sunflowers and filled my home with sunflower art.

Recently I was researching and learning about my favorite flower, and learned that the seeds can be used – which, since I am a fan of reducing, reusing and recycling, made me happy. I was lucky to be able to recently attend the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo in San Diego as well as The Natural Products Expo in Anaheim. At each of these shows I was lucky to be able, to not only speak with company representatives, but also sample SunButter Sunflower Spreads. After I sampled this alternative to traditional peanut butter I knew I wanted to write about them and share with all of you. buy bactroban online https://noprescriptionbuyonlinerxx.com/bactroban.html no prescription

The French Connection: Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup Review

The French Connection: Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup Review and Giveaway

Lori's Salt Caramel SyrupSweet items are a popular item in my house, and toppings are a staple. Jason and I try to have a protein and pasta/vegetable dinner each night along with a dessert. The most popular desert around here is ice cream – hands down ice cream. Recently we have really been enjoying frozen yogurt with assorted toppings. I noticed recently that Jason always goes for peanut butter or caramel topping. For me, I have never been a large caramel fan, but that is changing as my taste buds get older.

The best part of being a review blogger is that many times I get to sample things that most people have not heard of yet. Many times I feel like an explorer and the internet is my dig zone to discover new items that, not only myself, but you will also enjoy. A recent discovery I made was French Connections Lori’s Salt Caramel Syrup.

Gary Poppins Popcorn Review

Gary Poppins Popcorn Review and Giveaway

Gary Poppins 6 VarietyWhen I was a senior in high school I worked at a movie theater. There were a couple perks to this job including getting to see movies without having to pay and endless amounts of popcorn.

Now to most people this would be their idea of heaven but there were 2 problems for me. The first being that I would go home each night smelling like popped popcorn with butter. Sadly, on days I worked an 8 hour shift, I smelled like I had bathed in popcorn. The second problem was that I really got tired of the same old popcorn day in and day out. There was little variance in the flavoring and butter can wear on the taste buds.

During those long shifts, and days I wished that I could add a flavor to my popcorn – anything would have been better than butter. Now-a-days the idea of plain butter popcorn is as old as I was when I was a theater employee and popcorn companies like Gary Poppins Popcorn is making a “pop” in the popcorn market.
