Gary Poppins Popcorn Review and Giveaway
When I was a senior in high school I worked at a movie theater. There were a couple perks to this job including getting to see movies without having to pay and endless amounts of popcorn.
Now to most people this would be their idea of heaven but there were 2 problems for me. The first being that I would go home each night smelling like popped popcorn with butter. Sadly, on days I worked an 8 hour shift, I smelled like I had bathed in popcorn. The second problem was that I really got tired of the same old popcorn day in and day out. There was little variance in the flavoring and butter can wear on the taste buds.
During those long shifts, and days I wished that I could add a flavor to my popcorn – anything would have been better than butter. Now-a-days the idea of plain butter popcorn is as old as I was when I was a theater employee and popcorn companies like Gary Poppins Popcorn is making a “pop” in the popcorn market.
I was generously sent a variety of bags of Gary Poppins Popcorn in the following flavors Kettle, Aged White Cheddar, Caramel, White Cheddar Jalapeno, Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Himalayan Sea Salt and Simple Sea Salt to sample.
The first flavors I tried were the Kettle and Aged White Cheddar. The Kettle was a wonderful combination of sweet and crunchy. The Aged White Cheddar was not quite as cheddar flavored as we would have liked, but there was a cheddar flavor.
Next was the Caramel, which we loved, and had the perfect amount of caramel throughout the pieces. The caramel was one of our favorite flavors, and before we knew it the bag was gone. The caramel was layered on each piece as though it was individually dipped into a bowl of hot caramel and left to harden. buy xenical online https://rxxbuynoprescriptiononline.net/xenical.html no prescription
White Cheddar Jalapeno was a little on the spicy side but really good. Jason really enjoyed the flavor of the jalapeno, and loved that it was not the run of the mill buttered popcorn that we have become accustom to. Each piece had a prominent amount of jalapeno and added a unique color to the otherwise white popcorn. If you have a sensitive tummy, or are sensitive to jalapeno’s I would probably avoid this flavor.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Himalayan Sea Salt and Simple Sea Salt were equally delicious in their simplicity. I appreciated that most of the popcorn included in the bag were whole kernels and there were very little un-popped pieces at the bottom of the bag. Each of these flavors had a surprise punch of flavor in each bite, and I still made sure all flavor was off my fingers before I washed them. buy yasmin online https://rxxbuynoprescriptiononline.net/yasmin.html no prescription
What makes Gary Poppins Popcorn different is that the popcorn is handcrafted and made one small batch at a time, using whole grains. The popcorn is made fresh daily, and as soon as it cools it is put in the bag for consumption. I love that this popcorn is made here in the United States and is family owned and operated.
When I was a concession worker at the theater I only dreamed of popcorn flavors that are around today. If you are tired of more of the same popcorn you have had, give Gary Poppins Popcorn a try – they have over 37 varieties from sweet to savory.
