Fill Your Basket with SunButter Sunflower’s – Spring 2017 Giveaway

It never ceases to amaze me how amazing the world is, and how flowers can not only provide beauty to the environment but also nourish us. One of my favorite flowers are Sunflowers – not only are they beautiful and bright but they also provide a alternative to traditional peanut butters.

Last year I tried and reviewed SunButter Sunflower Spreads after I meet them at both the local Gluten-Free show and the Natural Products Expo I attended. This alternative to traditional peanut butter is such a delicious alternative for your Spring baking. For that reason I am so excited to have the opportunity to give some away for one reader to try!

Milton’s: Gourmet and Snack Crackers Review 2017

Milton’s Craft Bakers: Gourmet and Snack Cracker Review & Giveaway

As I have mentioned in the past, I get to sample, try and attend many things as a blogger. A couple of weeks back I went to the Gluten-Free Allergen Friendly Expo here in San Diego and I had the opportunity to see one of my favorite local brands – Milton’s Craft Bakers.

The Milton’s Craft Baker crew is about 10 minutes from my house and since I am such a fan of support of local companies, I was happy to see them. Our path’s crossed again at the Natural Product Expo, and I felt it was the “blogiverse” telling me that I had to review their gourmet and snack crackers.

Elopement to Celebration – Celebrating Us DIY Style

Having our Cake and Eating it too – Our DIY Wedding BBQ

Jason and I have never been conventional people, and when we got married that was no different. One rainy day at the end of December of 2010 Jason called my during his break at work and asked if that approaching Thursday would be a good day to schedule our moment at the court-house.

While the call surprised me the over all conversation did not. We had made plans to get married and we had decided that we would go to the courthouse.

That Thursday came and went, and we did not tell anyone, and before we knew it we never found the right time. When we finally came clean to family and friends, almost 26 months had passed and a handful of people knew our secret – we were married!

Cremo: Cooling Shave Cream Review

Cremo Company: Cooling Shaving Cream Review & Giveaway

When I recently I had the opportunity to try Cremo Company and their men’s and women’s shaving creams, I really liked them. Each of these products are great, and live by the message on the bottle with a little goes a long way.

When I was walking through my local store and saw that they had a Cooling Shave Cream, I was excited to try it and as well as seeing it n my local store. Cremo Cream are concentrated shaving creams, which means less of the product is needed to give a good shave.

11 Tips for Attending Expo’s and Trade Shows

Let’s be honest, attending an expo or trade show can be overwhelming to say the least. It is hard to know how to prepare, and what to do once you get there not to mention the followup after the event.

While attending the Natural Products Expo this past year I realized the importance of a pre-plan, and a successful execution once there and wanted to share that newly found knowledge!

Mrs. Thinster’s: Spring 2017 Cookie Giveaway

Mrs. Thinster’s: Spring for Cookie’s Giveaway

When I think of Spring one of the first flavors that come to mind is a simple cake batter flavor. The simple flavor gives a great base for a simple bunny cake. During these Spring days, it can be hard to be in the kitchen cooking, so having a cake batter cookie at arms length is a positive addition to the season.

Since we are such cookie fans of all cookies, I am thrilled to give you the opportunity to win a 4 pack of Mrs. Thinster’s cookies to add to your baskets this Spring season.

My Day with Mascots – Expo West 2017

My Day with Mascots – Natural Products Expo 2017

II have always loved taking my photo with people in mascots. It started when I was young at Disneyland, and to this day when I see a mascot I have to stop and get a photo. This current love has progressed into mascots I see at the Expo’s I attend. It all started a couple of years ago, at the Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo and since that I make it a goal to get photos with the mascots of companies I see.

While attending the Natural Products Expo this year I took various photos with mascots as you will see.

Bain de Terre: Raspberry Plum Color Enhancing Hair Care Duo Review

Bain de Terre: Raspberry Plum Color Enhancing Shampoo and Conditioner Review + Giveaway

There are few colors that I am unwilling to dye my hair – even deep reds. I have no fear. Once upon a time many years ago I decided to take my sandy blond hair and make it deep strawberry blond. At the time I did not tell anyone, and for most of my friends I provided them with a shock and awe they never saw coming.

Since then, while I have little fear, I understand how lucky I am with my sandy blonde “California girl” color. I still love to give friends and family a little shock and awe, when I saw a color enhancing line and colors of hair care from Bain de Terre I knew this would maintain natural look I have come to love.

Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle Review

Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle – Review + Giveaway

One of my favorite things to do when I was younger was to bake, and devour the batter that created the final result that would inevitably be less than originally planned.

Of all the things that I could bake, I chose brownies, I learned quickly that not only are these adaptable, but also very good from batter to brownie. My favorite part of the completed brownies are the crispy parts on the edges. There is something about the crunchy parts of a brownie that make the edges uniquely crunchy and tasty.

A couple months ago I was walking through the store, and noticed that my favorite part of the brownie had been bagged, and brought to the masses. From that first notice to now, Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle has expanded and added to the original first flavors of brownie brittle.
