My Day with Mascots – Expo West 2017

My Day with Mascots – Natural Products Expo 2017

II have always loved taking my photo with people in mascots. It started when I was young at Disneyland, and to this day when I see a mascot I have to stop and get a photo. This current love has progressed into mascots I see at the Expo’s I attend. It all started a couple of years ago, at the Gluten Free Allergen Friendly Expo and since that I make it a goal to get photos with the mascots of companies I see.

While attending the Natural Products Expo this year I took various photos with mascots as you will see.

This post may have affiliate links, but this in no way will influence the post to follow and all opinions are my own.

The first mascot I came across this year was from a local company –

Mamma Chia – Mr, Squeeze Purple and Yellow – The first mascot I came across and I am so happy to see this company grow. This year they are releasing a chia lemon iced tea, a blackberry and ginger lime chia drink! This is a local to us company, and so I was thrilled to see them at Expo as well as when I drive around town. I love to support local companies, and this is a great one! Find Mamma Chia near you and give them a try, these new flavors are awesome!

Field Trip Jerky – This was the technically the first mascot I came across, although he was still being inflated when I got this photo. As I walked the showroom floor, I came across Field Trip Jerky and was happy I did. These are wonderful and tasty jerky’s that any jerky lover will enjoy! Find Field Trip Jerky near you or Find Field Trip Jerky on Amazon.

Ginger People – I am actually a Brand Ambassador for this ginger company! Since becoming an ambassador I have learned about ginger and now use it to settle my upset tummy. I think this was one of the more “cute” mascots I came across, and definitely got my attention on a busy show room floor! Find Ginger People near you or Amazon.

Taste Nirvana – Coco – I will be honest and say that I am not usually a fan of coconut, but this Non-GMO coconut water is a sweeter version. The added sweetness is due to the use of younger coconuts. Find Taste Nirvana near you or on Amazon.

Kodiak Cakes – This make of flap jack and waffle mixes had one of the most furry mascots I came across. I was working on a selfie and a nice representative offered to get my photo which gives proper perspective to this large “Kodiak” bear. Find Kodiak Cakes near you and on Amazon

Smart Flour Foods – Smarty – Each expo I got to that Smarty goes to I make sure to get a photo. While I was at Expo West 2017, Smarty was busy doing other things, but when the team heard that I have a tradition to get my photo taken with him, one nice representative stopped what he was doing and put on Smarty and took a photo with me! Nothing encapsulated my appreciation like this photo! Find Smart Flour Foods near you or on Amazon.

Yakult – This probiotic yogurt is quick to drink and good for you! I loved seeing the mascot and plan to hit this booth whenever I see them at expos! Find Yakult near you or on Amazon.

pHresh Greens – this is a green super food that you can mix in smoothies and other snacks This is made of 16 raw ingredients and an easy way to get your super foods. Find pHresh Greens near you or on Amazon.

I was a mascots for a Christmas walk our town has here every year. I was dressed up as a Ginger Bread Man and walked around greeting people. Those feet on the costume are hard to walk in.

I think the best part is that you were able to make some happy people with a simple act, albiet one to hard walk in.
