One of my favorite things to do when I was younger was to bake, and devour the batter that created the final result that would inevitably be less than originally planned.

Of all the things that I could bake, I chose brownies, I learned quickly that not only are these adaptable, but also very good from batter to brownie. My favorite part of the completed brownies are the crispy parts on the edges. There is something about the crunchy parts of a brownie that make the edges uniquely crunchy and tasty.

A couple months ago I was walking through the store, and noticed that my favorite part of the brownie had been bagged, and brought to the masses. From that first notice to now, Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle has expanded and added to the original first flavors of brownie brittle.

I received an assortment of their Sheila G’s Brownie Brittle in the following flavors – Mint Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chip, Toffee Crunch, Chocolate Chip, Salted Caramel and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt.

Since I was sent 6 flavors including Mint Chocolate Chip which had a mild mint flavor and primary chocolate. The Peanut Butter Chip which had a very distinct Peanut Butter Chip flavor. The Toffee Crunch reminded me of a caramel toffee with a nice crunch.

The Chocolate Chip was a simple chocolate chip brownie flavor. Salted Caramel was a perfect mix of caramel and salt and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt which was my hands down favorite since I love dark chocolate with a salt flavor.

The Brownie Brittle is a bag full of the crunchy parts of the brownie – think the sides in a bag. These are the perfect chocolate snack and truly the best part of the brownie, next to the batter.

There are so many situations in which these would be good, a from ice cream sandwiches to just straight out of the bag. If you are a brownie fan, I guarantee you will love these!
