Petstages: Mix & Scratch – Channel Scratcher Review

Petstages: Mix & Scratch – Channel Scratcher Review & Giveaway

Our cats are indoor cats, and as far as we can tell they are happy with this decision that we have made for them.

The reason that we made this decision was as selfish for ourselves as it was selfish for them. When we adopted them we debated making them indoor/outdoor cats, but since we live on a major road, if they happen to make their way out it could end deadly for them. For this reason, and about a million more, they are now happy indoor house cats. Since they live their life in the confines of our home it is important to both of us that we give them the most stimulating and full life humanly possible.

Back when I first started reviewing cat toys I came across a company called Petstages that has a complete line of toys for cats (and dogs). The thing that we loved about these toys is that they stimulate the cats mind, as well as their reward system that keeps them hunting and playing, all while providing exercise in a safe environment that we control.

Think Time: 2017 Journal Planner Review

Think Time: 2017 Journal Planner Review + Giveaway

Ever since I was young, I have been a planner. One of my favorite gifts were day planners and calendars. Each time I received a new planner or calendar I would spend the next couple hours making note of important birthdays, events and important school dates.

Now that I am older, I still love planners but like them to be a little more than just dates and space to write events. Ideally, a planner can help me plan, but also inspire me to think bigger, and set goals.

As the blog grows, I find my dreams growing so this year I decided that it was time I get a planner that will not only make note of dates, but also give me a place to brainstorm and dream. When I began looking for the perfect planner I came across the Think Time Journal Planner.

Meowijuana: Organic Catnip Assortment Review

Meowijuana: Organic Catnip Review + Giveaway

Murfee is a unique cat in many ways, but mostly because he is hot and cold when it comes to the things he likes. In most situations this does not bother us, and honestly we have become quite accustom to it and even find humor among the chaos of his ever changing mood.

The one thing that Murfee has loved since he was a kitten and has stayed constant about is catnip. There is something about this grown plant that he loves, and most days can garner a flicker of interest.

When I recently was doing searches about growing our own catnip I came across a company called Meowijuana, I was immediately interested since I love a good play on words.

Blüm Beverage: Zen Blend and Uplift Blend Review

Blüm Beverage – Natural Botanical Elixir: Zen Blend & Uplift Blend Review and Giveaway

If there is one thing I love, it is to relax and watch television with my cats. While many of my peers add a glass of wine to their relaxation rituals, I do not. The avoidance to wine had multiple reasons, including I get a headache, I am not a drinker, but the biggest is that I simply do not like the taste of wine.

The downside to this is that when all my friends have a drink at a party, I am the one without a wine glass. I tend to fill my glass with juice, to not be left out. I have often thought that it would be nice to have an herb based drink that is non-alcoholic and can be served in a wine setting.

When I recently got an email from Blüm Beverage who created two alcohol-free, botanical elixirs that caters to Non-Drinkers, I was interested.

Zotos Professional: 180PRO Color Remedy Review

Zotos Professional: 180PRO Color Remedy Review + Giveaway

I have mentioned in the past that I am lucky that overall, my hair over the years has remained undamaged. Despite my constant drastic coloring changes when I was young, my hair looks good today.

StyleWe.com Review

Stylewe.com Fashion Review + Site Credit Giveaway

Admittedly I am not that hip on fashion as I would like to be, I value comfort over style on most days. Since I spent 90% of my time on my couch with a laptop the need for anything more than comfortable pants and a comfortable shirt is rarely needed.

Notice I used the word rarely, not never. There are some times when I need something more formal that outfits made of flannel and in those occasions I like to look nice while retaining the comfort that I am so used to. One of my top prioritize when looking for clothes is that I remain budget conscious – keep the cost vs. wear in perspective. The goal is to look nice while still feeling like I got a good deal.

When I was approached by online company Stylewe my first priority was to make sure that the items were budget conscious while remaining good-looking.

Back to the Roots: Garden-in-a-Can Review

Back to the Roots: Garden-in-a-Can Basil + Cilantro Review

Ever since we started cooking our own dinners and relying on pre-packaged meals less, the addition of spices and herbs is forefront in the cooking process.

In light of the fact that we love cooking with fresh herbs, we had begun toying with the idea of growing our own herbs. The problem with this was that we live in a smaller home, and storage and space to grow is not only limited but homeowners regulations are abound about planting. Since we have a nice size porch, we decided that we could dedicate an area on the top and bottom levels towards our own herb gardens. Each time we attempted this either dirt was an issue, weather knocking pots over was the problem or our own lack of a green thumb.

Being a fan of simplicity, and believing that timing is everything, was approached by a company called Back to the Roots, and in addition to selling items like mushroom farms, and farmhouse sets, they also sell Garden-in-a-Can. When I looked at these self-contained can’s I began to see our own grown herbs as a real option in our cooking.

Dave’s Gourmet Specialty Sauces Review

Dave’s Gourmet Specialty Sauces: Creamy Parmesan Romano Pasta Sauce and Wild Mushroom Pasta Sauce Review + Giveaway

I have mentioned in the past that my husband comes from an Italian family. There are stories of his youth that involve large plates of pasta, zucchini boats, lasagna, salads and of course garlic bread.

While these are fond memories, those days have passed for the most part and our own cooking limits the quantities of food selections dramatically. The one thing that has not changed is the love of sauces that he has. The one thing is that since he grew-up on authentic sauces, he is somewhat picky about the pasta sauces he eats now.

When I saw Dave’s Gourmet and their line of pasta sauces I thought that maybe Jason would find a pasta sauce that would remind him of those days of endless pasta meals.
