One of the things that I love about coloring books is that they give you the ability to escape and visit places you may otherwise not see. Since I am such a fan of coloring, when I was approached by Green Frog Publishing to review theirHybird Adult Coloring Books, I was intrigued with such titles as “Where We Live” and “National Parks of the UK and Ireland”.
Mini Monthly Box of Awesome – November 2017 Review
As I have mentioned I love random mail and the best random mail is the the Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome by That Daily Deal.com. Each month, similar to the regular Box of Awesome that is offered, there is no theme is chosen. Instead of theme a random selection of 2 – 3 gender neutral items are included in this white package.

As we go through life, we accumulate a lifetime of memories and moments. Many of these are captured through photos and videos, but most of them exist in our minds.

Barron’s – Coloring Books – February 2017 – New Releases Review + Giveaway
When I was younger, I remember purchasing a book that would help me prepare for the SAT’s and the other testing I would need to attend college. The book company was Barron’s and they were/are the go to for test prep books. So naturally when I saw that they also have coloring books I was surprised.
As it turns out, they do the test prep books, but also have a full line of coloring books, Barron’s Educational Series is not only education but also robust in their coloring book selections.
As a blog owner I have many hats, and many duties to accomplish throughout the day. Most of these I remember, and have a system’s in place for most tasks. Even with systems being in place it is nice to have a planner that I can make notes about meetings, calls and daily to-dos.
I have always gotten planners with colors, and a theme that I enjoy. If I can get more spaces for notes and such, that is always a bonus. When I recently saw the Coloring Planner: Stress Relieving Cats by Blue Star Coloring I got excited – not only was it a planner but a CAT themed planner! Continue reading →
Dark Skies: A Grayscale Adult Coloring BookReview + Giveaway
While the years scariest day is about 10 months away, it is nice to have a reminder of the mystical and magical throughout the year. I have discovered that there is no better way to dream and imagine, then when you are coloring.

Color Couture: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Review + Giveaway
Since I spend 85% of my time on my computer either writing, creating, editing or pitching, my comfort is a very important component of my day.
I would love to sit here and tell that this is new, but I have never been one for what is considered couture clothing. I am more like the character in The Devil Wear Prada before her grand Vogue makeover. I often wish I had occasions to wear these grand clothes to.
When I received the Color Couture: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Artist’s Editionby Blue Star Premier, I saw all the couture clothing that I dream of one day wearing.
When I was young one of my most disliked classes was anatomy. There must have been a mental block in my mind because no matter how many times I reviewed those diagrams I never quite got the idea.
Now that I am older, I can appreciate each bone, joint and movement that my body produces. I am eager to learn more and educate myself about those intricacies that I did not understand all those years earlier.
