It is not a secret that we are a snack house. At any given time we have snacks that range from the healthy to the slightly unhealthy.
One of the healthier snacks that we have discovered that satisfies both Jason and I’s ever changing taste buds is popcorn.
Since we are such a snack home when I heard that Gaslamp Popcorn was releasing a new flavor called Malibu Mix I was curious.

I am going to say that I love when I see a company I like have success – this is the case with Bobo’s Oat Bars.
Recently Bobo’s underwent a change when they added New Flavors, A New Look And A New Name. Instead of being known as Bobo’s Oat Bars they are now known as Bobo’s and have added Chocolate Chip, Coconut Almond Chocolate Chip, Almond Butter, Banana Chocolate Chip, and the seasonal Gingerbread flavors.

Simple Mills: Chocolate and Vanilla Frosting Review and Giveaway
As I have gotten older I have realized that there are few things that I can make better than I can buy. One of these items is baked goods – almost everything I make tastes better than what I can otherwise purchase.
Upon this revelation I immediately went to the store and I began stocking up on baked goods. I purchased flour, sugar, baking powder and extracts of every flavor. I excitedly came home and decided to make brownies. I was under the belief that just simple plain brownies would suffice, but I was quickly informed that frosted brownies are better.
I have mentioned in the past that one of my favorite things as a blogger is when I company that I have worked with in the past, increases and expands their product offerings. Since I suddenly found myself in a frosting-less situation I inquired to Simple Mills so that I could sample their new frosting’s and when I reached out they were generous enough to send me a their newest sweet offering.

Since I am a review blogger and thus a small business owner, time is precious and ease is preferred over almost any other option.
One of the healthiest and simplest snacks that I have discovered is freeze-dried fruit. The thing that makes these healthy is that this is a single-ingredient snack. Since it is only fruit they are non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free and kosher. As an added plus they have no added sugar or artificial flavoring.
When I received the Crunchies Freeze Dried Fruit Assortment for review, I was looking forward to sample some fruits that I had not tried freeze-dried before.
Goodie Girl: Vanilla and Cocoa Slims Review + Giveaway!!!!
It is no secret that I am a fan of Goodie Girl Cookies and we share them with our friends and loved ones as often as we can.
Recently my mother in law was mentioning that she loves the yearly mint cookies, but is sad she has to wait once a year to indulge in her favorite cookie. I have kept this in mind and on one of my mass Goodie Girl cookie purchases I bought her a box of Mint Slims.
I was eager to hear her opinion of these gluten-free cookies, and had to contain my excitement when she was taking her first bite. After she had a couple, she looked at me and declared that she likes these more than her previous once a year favorites. About a week later I heard that the box was no longer, and its contents empty.
I loved this moment and it reminded me of why I began the blog in the first place – to share products with people that they otherwise may not have known about. Recently Goodie Girl released a 8-pack package of Mint Slims, as well as Vanilla Slims and Cocoa Slims.

One of the best things about being a blogger is when I am sent products that I otherwise would not have tried.
A wonderful example of this is Newman’s Own. Last year I had the opportunity to sample and review a wide variety of their products. Since then I have seeked out Newman’s in my local stores, and am determined to sample everything they have to offer.
Since I have began this quest I have developed some favorites, that also happen to make the perfect back to school snacks. Newman’s Own Organic has a wide range of products that go from salty, sweet and over to sour. As a bonus and in addition Newman’s Own goodness extends beyond just food and into the charitable world.

Support comes in many forms and many different ways. One of the most important keys in small businesses is the concept of support.
I think one of the biggest supporters of small businesses are the monthly gift box companies. Each month a small business that may otherwise not get the widespread eyes that a monthly subscription box can provide.
Each month American Gluten-Free chooses small and not so small business and not only includes them in their boxes, but also features them on their website and social media. This gives subscribers a nice insight into a company that otherwise may not be featured. The small businesses of the world make the world of commerce go around. Each month American Gluten-Free sends subscribers 7 to 9 items, mostly full size products to sample.
Jif Peanut Butter Granola Bars Review
As the Back to School season marches forward, the need for on the go snacks transitions into needing them for lunches. When I was growing up I rarely made my lunches and brought them to school. There was something uncomfortable about eating a meat sandwich when it was sitting in my lunch box for 5 hours.
When I really stop to think about it, I have always been sensitive to foods and their temperature. I believe that sandwiches should be cold. and very little should be warm. My favorite are snacks that are not effected by heat changes.
The best foods I have found are granola items, and peanut butter – both these seem to hold up no matter the weather conditions. Recently I was send the Jif Peanut Butter Granola Bars and being a perfect mix of granola and peanut butter makes them the perfect lunch snack. .
SuperSeedz: Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds Summer 2016 Giveaway
As the summer continues thoughts to fall have entered my mind. Each year I look forward to the luscious seeds but I am very apprehensive to do anything but a simple bake to them.
I love the versatility of pumpkin seeds with being able to be used in soups and salads, being included in breads, and baked with various seasonings. While my bravery levels are more on the low side, it is nice to know that I can get Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds by the bag with Superseedz.
