The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide Review

The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide: Using the Science of Carrier & Essential Oils to Create Natural Personal Care Products Review + Giveaway

I have always loved learning, and reading. I think I learn best when I am left to read the instructions and the execute the action. As I have aged I have learned that is more I do not know than do know and that excites me – it means I still have a ton to learn.

The one thing that I love to learn about and to educate myself about is essential oils. The great thing is that is always something to learn, make and concoct where these versatile oils are concerned. When I recently got The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide and looked through it I knew I found a great reference.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Robert Rose. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received a copy of The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide: Using the Science of Carrier & Essential Oils to Create Natural Personal Care Products for review.

There is no denying that essential oils can do so many things for us while keeping things natural. Since there are many things to consider where essential oils are concerned it is nice to have the opportunity to have one central guide in which to use as a reference point.

The Aromatherapy Beauty Guide: Using the Science of Carrier & Essential Oils to Create Natural Personal Care Products is divided into 4 sections. The first is called “The Foundation” which gives information about your skin and different skin issues. The second is called “The Ingredients for Great Skin Care” which teaches about the raw ingredients in facial cleansers. The third is “Essential Oils”, which teaches people about the 35 essential oils featured in the book. The fourth section is “Creating Your Own Personal Care Products” which contains over 100 formulas for make your own face, body, bath, pregnancy and beyond for men and women.

This is a cleanly written, as well as cleanly laid out book that will educate and inform the reader about essential oils.

As I get further into learning about essential oils and all the healthy options are available with their use, the more I want to learn and this book is a perfect resource.

I mix lavender essential oil with water in a spray bottle and spray it on my window screens and around doorways every few days. Not only does it keep spiders and other bugs away, a lovely scent comes in when the windows are open or when coming through the doors.
