Croscill: Crestwood Grey Quilt Collection Review

Croscill: Crestwod Grey Quilt Collection Review + Giveaway

If there is one thing I really love, it is a comfortable bed spread. Many years ago when I was young I would always change my comforter set. What this ultimately did was give me quite a collection of blankets and sheets for my friends to use when I hosted slumber parties.

Now that I have my own house, I am always finding the need for blankets and such. I still love to change my bed spread but it is much longer between upgrades than when I was young.

Recently I began the process of redoing our master bedrooms bedding. The process started with new pillows, than sheets and now the next element has arrived – the Croscill Crestwood Quilt with Shams.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Croscill Home, LLC.. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I received the Croscill Crestwood Grey Quilt Collection which included a King size Crestwood Grey Quilt and 2 standard Crestwood Grey Pillow Shams.

One of my first priorities was to get the Crestwood Grey Pillow Shams out of the package and place them on the two pillows I had set aside for them. The pillows I chose were a little more on the flatter end, which gives these shams a clean look.

The next on the list was to unfurl the king size Crestwood Grey Quilt from the package. I chose to get a king size to give a little more give since I am a bit of a blanket hog and love to be surrounded by blankets. As soon as I took the quilt out of the package and into the light of day I saw the clean pattern and how much it really did remind me of a quilt that grandma would make.

It has been almost 5 days since I redid the bedding, and each night I love this comforter a little more. It looks good when I throw it over the bed as well as when I spend more time making the bed. One of my favorite things to do is just sit on the comforter and read, it is soft and comfortable.

Honestly before I got this Crestwood Grey Quilt Collection I had NEVER had a quilt before, and now I am not sure I will never not have one. I have really fallen for the look, the comfort and the overall ease of making the bed into a masterpiece with no time spent.

If you are looking to get a new bedding set I would HIGHLY recommend this set to you – you will be so happy you did!

I really don’t redo the bed comforter very often. It is hard to find one my husband and I like. You are reminding me that we need to do it soon.

  2. Lisa V.

So far I’ve changed mine out every two or three years, just for something different. But I always hang on to the old ones and sometimes re-introduce them (again, for variety’s sake).

  3. Jeanne Coulombe

I change our comforter every couple of years it just gets expensive cause we have a king size bed.

  4. Catherine Lewis

I change sets about every 5 years. My guest room is overdue for an updated look!

  5. Donna Yost

I love this Quilt set. Its so hard to find a quilt now a days it is usually just comforters. We haven’t changed ours in over 5 yrs way over due

  6. Stephanie Phelps

Oh I have probably replace or redo mine in the spring and in the winter months! I mean it is the same ones for about 5 years now!

  7. Victoria Scott

Every few years we try to. We are due for a change right about now 🙂

  8. Lorena Keech

We changed often when we had dogs, as they shared the bed with us. Now that we are “dog-less”, we aren’t as rough on bedding. So we won’t change often.

  9. Tammy N

I so need a new comforter/quilt! Thanks for the chance! I go several years in between changing. This last time I bought one about 1.5 yrs ago and it started falling apart already!

  10. Cynthia C

I use the same comforter for many years. I fold it down in the warmer months but it stays on the bed.

  11. Jen Dantuma

Lol…well I do like to change things up – and a new set of bedding costs less than redoing the entire room (same for the bathroom). I have extra bedding so that I can change the look seasonally. I love this quilt set – it would go perfect in my bedroom as well as my guest space.

  12. tat2gurlzrock

That is gorgeous. Our master bedroom is in black and gray so this would look so nice!

  13. Christina Sparks

It been over three years, my comforter is frayed. sheets our billowy.

  14. Kim K

I get a new set about every two to three years. Sometimes I need a new set, but other times I just get bored and want something different.

  15. Laurie Nykaza

I so need a new comforter for my bed mine is really old 10 years old it needs to be replaced

  16. yarnaddicted

It’s usually about 5 years when I purchase a new comforter set, thanks!

  17. Forsberg

Considering I am a guy, I would say I change them about one time in my life. When they completely fall apart

  18. amylou61

It’s been years since I’ve redone my comforter. I’ve started looking for a new one, but nothing promising yet.

  19. Shelley P

We redo our bed spread/comforter set every year or two depending on how well it lasts/looks 🙂 And my dogs or the local shelter gets the old ones 🙂

  20. Lisa Williams

I would say I change our comforter about every 2 years or longer,no a lot.

  21. clynsg

I don’t do it as often as I would really like, and there is no real reason not to do it. Just inertia, I guess, since I have a tendency to hold on to something that I like rather than switching.

  22. Cheryl Chervitz

I usually only change it out when it starts to fall apart. Its not always a priority.

  23. wen budro

I haven’t replaced my comforter in ages. It’s definitely time for a new one.

  24. Ann Hoag

It’s been years. I was thinking the other day I really need a new comforter set.

  25. Bethany Suire

If I had the money to do so, I’d redo my bed set and spread all the time, even every other month would be so Awesome! But, realistically I probably redo my bed sheet every other year.

  26. Wehaf

I’m not sure what you mean by re-do. I rarely buy new bedding, but I change the bedding I use seasonally.

  27. Naida Martin

Only if i need new bedding and that’s every couple of years when its really worn out

  28. jules m.

i rarely get new things for the bed, but i have certain things that are for winter, and others for spring/summer

  29. Tammy Woodall

I change out sheets and Comforters with the seasons. Also, I change out the colors every few years.

  30. Cindy Peterson

I have three comforters that I change out seasonally. And I get new a new comforter every year as I retire one.

  31. Leah Shumack

I have about 3 that I change out throughout the year. Depending on the weather!

  32. Cheryll Shubert

I try to redo it every few years but something always seems to come up financially, lol. I wish I could redo it more often. It changes the whole feel of the room and makes it comfy! Thanks so much for this amazing opportunity!

  33. slehan

I have a winter set and a summer set. I don’t buy them any more. I have plenty.
    Thanks for the contest.
