Croscill: Crestwod Grey Quilt Collection Review + Giveaway
If there is one thing I really love, it is a comfortable bed spread. Many years ago when I was young I would always change my comforter set. What this ultimately did was give me quite a collection of blankets and sheets for my friends to use when I hosted slumber parties.
Now that I have my own house, I am always finding the need for blankets and such. I still love to change my bed spread but it is much longer between upgrades than when I was young.
Recently I began the process of redoing our master bedrooms bedding. The process started with new pillows, than sheets and now the next element has arrived – the Croscill Crestwood Quilt with Shams.

I received the Croscill Crestwood Grey Quilt Collection which included a King size Crestwood Grey Quilt and 2 standard Crestwood Grey Pillow Shams.
One of my first priorities was to get the Crestwood Grey Pillow Shams out of the package and place them on the two pillows I had set aside for them. The pillows I chose were a little more on the flatter end, which gives these shams a clean look.
The next on the list was to unfurl the king size Crestwood Grey Quilt from the package. I chose to get a king size to give a little more give since I am a bit of a blanket hog and love to be surrounded by blankets. As soon as I took the quilt out of the package and into the light of day I saw the clean pattern and how much it really did remind me of a quilt that grandma would make.
It has been almost 5 days since I redid the bedding, and each night I love this comforter a little more. It looks good when I throw it over the bed as well as when I spend more time making the bed. One of my favorite things to do is just sit on the comforter and read, it is soft and comfortable.
Honestly before I got this Crestwood Grey Quilt Collection I had NEVER had a quilt before, and now I am not sure I will never not have one. I have really fallen for the look, the comfort and the overall ease of making the bed into a masterpiece with no time spent.

I really don’t redo the bed comforter very often. It is hard to find one my husband and I like. You are reminding me that we need to do it soon.
So far I’ve changed mine out every two or three years, just for something different. But I always hang on to the old ones and sometimes re-introduce them (again, for variety’s sake).

I change our comforter every couple of years it just gets expensive cause we have a king size bed.
I change sets about every 5 years. My guest room is overdue for an updated look!

Oh I have probably replace or redo mine in the spring and in the winter months! I mean it is the same ones for about 5 years now!

We changed often when we had dogs, as they shared the bed with us. Now that we are “dog-less”, we aren’t as rough on bedding. So we won’t change often.

Lol…well I do like to change things up – and a new set of bedding costs less than redoing the entire room (same for the bathroom). I have extra bedding so that I can change the look seasonally. I love this quilt set – it would go perfect in my bedroom as well as my guest space.

I get a new set about every two to three years. Sometimes I need a new set, but other times I just get bored and want something different.
