Ulysses Press: Apuglogies, Emoticat Stickers, Cover Art and Don’t Quit Your Day Dream Review and Giveaway

Four pack of booksI have mentioned in the past that when I was young there was a gift store that i frequented for presents. This store had everything from gag gifts, balloons, cards and gift books. I also worked for a card shop that sold gift books so I love theme books that celebrate a persons favorite things.

I recently heard about the release of 4 new gift books from Ulysses Press that celebrate a persons favorite things that range from Pugs saying “I’m sorry”, cats that are expressive and communicate how you are feelings, hangable classic book covers and a unique twist on the adult coloring trend.

ApugologiesApuglogies- Saying Sorry with Adorable Pugs: This is a tear out book of 20 different Pug themed Apuglogies. There are things like “I’m sorry things got out of control”, “Sorry I ate all your *blank*” and “I messed up and its cold out here” that includes a related photo of a pug and a space on the back to write your own message. This is a must have for any Pug fans and dog fans alike!

Emoticat StickersEmoticat Stickers – 200 Ways to Say it With Kitties: Any regular reader of the blog will know how much I love my cats. They are as expressive as sweet. This book celebrates that expressiveness and puts them into stickers. There are over 200 stickers that will express what ever feeling you are having and want to blame them on the cat.

Cover ArtCover Art – 20 Hangable Prints for Book Nerds: I am always looking for new and unique things to put in my craft room and this book fits the bill perfectly. This book has 20 different book covers that include such classics as Frankenstein, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes to name a few. These are 8 by 10 with no matte or 5 by 7 with matte (totaling 8 x 10).

Coloring BookDon’t Quit Your Day Dream – 20 Hand-Drawn Cards to Tear, Color and Share: This is a cute variation on the adult coloring book trend. This book includes 20 hand drawn cards that you can tear out and send to someone in need of a pick me up. There are flowers, inspirational memes and simple images to color and are easy to remove to preserve the integrity of the cards.

These would make perfect gifts for just about anyone on your list! I encourage you to pick these up for a cute surprise!

Not sure if it counts, but my favorite gift book was a journal I received from a friend. She’d bought it from a woman who hand makes books. It was so special to me! Her note was really sweet, too.

I got a book from my 3rd son when he was in junior high called “For women who do too much” Even at that young age he could see how much I did for all of them
