As regular readers will know, I attend the Natural Products Expo each year and make new discoveries and new connections. Recently the company that organized the Expo launched a blogger box, which contained products from companies that you typically would see at the East and West Coast versions of these shows.

One of the items in the box that I received was a jar of fruit and Chia by World of Chia. I initially tried this on a piece of bread toasted with butter and was immediately impressed. I knew at that first bite that I wanted to try the others and share it with you all!

Blueberry Close upI don’t know about you but breakfast and I have a love hate relationship. I love the concept of breakfast much more than sitting and eating the breakfast.

When I was young my father would take my friends and I to breakfast each Saturday morning – we began to look forward to this ritual and became a tradition for sleep overs. I think that my friends would spend the night just for the Saturday morning breakfast.

Since I do not have the time I used to but still need a healthy breakfast to start my day I look for the most punch in a cup. About a year ago I discovered the Superfood known as Chia, and once combined with whole oats this becomes a healthy and energizing breakfast. Collage of productsAs I review blogger I get items for review in a variety of ways that range from press releases to simple pitches from companies. While these are the most common ways I acquire my review items, there is another way.

One night Jason and I were sitting around watching Food Network, as we often do. A new show came on called Food Fortunes and one of the companies featured was Earnest Eats. The gave the panel a sample of their hot and fit cereal. The product looked so good on television that I decided to reach out for a sample.
