Earnest Eats Review

Earnest Eats Review and Giveaway

Collage of productsAs I review blogger I get items for review in a variety of ways that range from press releases to simple pitches from companies. While these are the most common ways I acquire my review items, there is another way.

One night Jason and I were sitting around watching Food Network, as we often do. A new show came on called Food Fortunes and one of the companies featured was Earnest Eats. The gave the panel a sample of their hot and fit cereal. The product looked so good on television that I decided to reach out for a sample.

Earnest Eats was generous to send us the following product for sample:

Blueberry Chia Small Cup - Earnest EatsSuperfood Blueberry Chia: This comes in 12.6 oz bags and as cups. This had chunks of blueberry throughout, although I would have liked to see more blueberries included. This tasted almost identical to a blueberry oatmeal, just better for you. The bags and cups come in other flavors such as Mayan Blend cocoa, cashews and pepitas, American Blend – cranberries, almonds and flax and Asia Blend which is made of mango, almonds and green tea.

Earnest Eats Bars 1Superfood Energy Bars and Chewy Granola Bars: I received the Dark Chocolate Almond Granola Bar and it tasted just as good as any chocolate granola bar I have ever tasted. The dark chocolate mixes very well and a chewy bar. We received the Double Chocolate Espresso Energy Bar which reminded me of an oatmeal cooking using an unsweetened chocolate. The Choco Peanut Butter Energy Bar was as tasty as you can imagine chocolate and peanut butter. The Cran Lemon Zest Energy Bar gave pops of cranberries and lemon zest and was very tasty. Finally I tried the Almond Trail Mix Energy Bar and this reminded me of a trail mix in bar format. All of these were tasty and would be perfect for an afternoon energy push or just to take as a snack on a car ride with kids. Also available is Dark Choco Mint and Apple Ginger.

Blueberry Chia Small Cup - Earnest EatsSuperfood Hot Cereal Cups: In addition to the Blueberry Chia we also received the Mayan Blend which contains Cocoa, Cashews and Pepitas in addition to the base of Superfood Grains, Quinoa and Amaranth. Also sampled was the American Blend Cup, which is Cranberries, Almonds and Flax as well as the Asia Blend which contained Mango, Almonds and Green Tea.

Each of these contains Non-GMO, vegan, soy and dairy free, wheat-free and gluten-free. These are great for a quick breakfast, just put boiling water to the line and let stand or cover and then eat.

I really enjoyed all of Earnest Eats products and love that I can make this Superfood hot cereal. Sometimes it does not matter how  one is found, but what happens once you find them. I encourage you to find Earnest Eats as well.Contest Giveaway - Earnest EatsLet me start by saying that the products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Earnest Eats. I was looking for someone to do a small painting job. I couldn’t find a reasonable rate. I was running errands and found a business card stuck to the bottom of my shoe. I called them, because why not? They turned out to have great ratings and were able to fit my job into their schedule.

I find it odd that there are some companies still that won’t accommodate their customers.

The oddest way I have discovered a company is probably not that odd, but it was by entering a giveaway for a product I had never heard of. I ended up winning the giveaway & now regulary order the product because I love it!

The most odd way I have discovered a company would have to be being tagged in a FB post. Thank You for the chance to win

I find so many new companies through blogs. I just discovered your blog by chance. Someone had tagged me. I cam over and signed up with my email and saw you had many reviews of companies that I had not heard of.

LOL those ugly sweater websites have some pretty odd things. The one I saw the other day had a stuffed animals head sticking out the front of the sweater and the rest of the stuffed animals body sticking out of the back! So odd…..

The oddest way I discovered a company was I sat next to a woman on a plane, who was a total stranger, but by the time we landed, I was one of her best customers. She sold baking and cooking supplies.

We were looking for a new, reasonably priced Vet and I just happened to speak to a lady in the pet supplies isle who told me about a great new pet doc.
