Daydreams & Doodles Coloring BookSome days when I am having writers block I will take a walk to the beach, grab a towel sit and daydream.

Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns: Adult Coloring Book Review

Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns Review and Giveaway

Adult Coloring Book SR DolphinsLiving so close to the ocean there are days that I literally hear the waves crash and smell the ocean air. As the ocean air wafts over the hill, it makes me wonder about the world on the other side of that hill.

As I sit and wonder of all the sea animals, I find the dolphins and whales most interesting. Dolphins are wide-ranging in size from 5 feet to 31 feet and can weigh from the pounds to the tons. While male dolphins are called “bulls”, and the females are called “calves” each are equally smart. These creatures are equal parts amazing and wonderful!

When I received a copy of Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns by Blue Star Coloring I thought of those playful, and smart sea creatures. Continue reading

Win a copy of Dragon World and Gothic Halloween

Mythically Mysterious Combo: Dragon World and Gothic Halloween Adult Coloring Book’s Giveaway

Dragon World and Gothic HalloweenI am fascinated by the concept of scaley old time creatures such as dragons. I sit and wonder if it is possible that such things ever flew in our airspace. When you look at dragons, there are characteristics of modern-day alligators, and yesteryear dinosaurs. Most dragons are depicted as these large imposing creatures, that look would look at us as mere food. I love imagining an alternate existence in which our world’s are one.

That being said, there are few nights of the year when the moon rises, and you believe that anything is possible. The magical night I am referring to is Halloween. Halloween is the one time of the year that no matter what reality is, imagination finds a way to become real.

In the spirit of the this endless route to imagination and making the make-believe real, I give you an opportunity to win a copy of Dragon World: Adult Coloring Book and Gothic Halloween: A Scary Adult Coloring Book.

Imagine Travel Combo: Coloring the Cosmos and Stress Relieving Tropical Travel Patterns Adult Coloring Book’s Giveaway

Cosmos and SR Travel PatternsI recently went to the local craft store and was astounded truly how much the adult coloring trend has taken off. As I passed through the isles, one thought was overriding – what makes this trend such a popular one?

After walking the isles, and thumbing through the vast selection it all of a sudden it occurred me that there are fewer ways one can take a vacation without leaving their home. For many people a vacation is not in the cards, therefore must find other ways of getting away – coloring is a great alternative.

When I get stressed and want to take a vacation, I have found that being able to color is a great escape. Since I can not travel having a travel themed book to color and imagine with is a nice alternative.  When I get Color the Cosmos: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book and Adult Coloring Book : Stress Relieving Tropical Travel Patterns I am able to imagine all those places that I dream of visiting.

Soul of the Woodland Adult Coloring Book Review

Soul of the Woodland: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Review and Giveaway

Soul of the WoodlandWhen I married Jason I knew that at some point I would go camping. You see, Jason was an outdoors kid, and as an adult became adept at fishing in Mammoth, and camping in Yosemite. Each year Jason’s parents spend their anniversary in the mountains, merging glamping and camping into one 3 week adventure.

I, on the other hand, have never been camping, and really the thought somewhat scares me. While I love hearing bear stories, and fishing tales and the diversity of flowers and wildlife.

When I received a copy of Soul of the Woodland: A Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book by Suzy Joyner Jason was finally able to share his love of the woodland with me.

ColoringNotebook Review

ColoringNotebook Review

Coloring NotebookWhen you typically think of notebooks they are simple spiral bound lined pages that vary in thickness from 25 to 125 pages. These are also the same notebooks that are synonymous with note taking and studying. These are typically standard size and the cover is nothing more than a solid color.

Until recently I never considered combining coloring with a lined book, until I was approached to review the new ColoringNotebook. At first glance it is clear this is not the notebook that held all those chemistry notes so many years before.

Birds of the World Adult Coloring Book Review

Birds of the World: Adult Coloring Book Review and Giveaway

Birds of the WorldBirds have always been one of natures most beautiful animals. There are colorful birds and birds whose names are almost unpronounceable. The common thread with all birds is that they fly over this world, and log more miles than most airplanes.

The one thing that is amazing is the art of flight. I think it is truly amazing that an animal can literally start from the ground and within moments be gliding through the air.

When I received a copy of Birds of the World: Adult Coloring Book by Remy Simard I was reminded of the magical ability of birds.

Howl: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Review

Howl: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book – Blue Star Master Collection Review and Giveaway

Howl from Master CollectionWhen Jason and I used to live on a road much emptier than the busy road that we now live on. There was something calm and tranquil hearing the coyotes and crickets as we fell asleep.

Looking back I think my favorite sound was the howl of the coyotes. There was a special bark that they would make which would signal the acquisition of a meal. This became a common sound, and in time I found myself rooting for the howling creatures, despite knowing the kill was an unsuspecting animal or family pet.

When I received a copy of Howl: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book from the Blue Star Master Collection by Katy Lipscomb I was reminded of those long nights listening to the howls outside.

It’s Owl Good Adult Coloring Book Review

It’s Owl Good: An Adult Coloring Book Review and Giveaway

Owl GoodThere is a loud friend we have in our neighborhood. This particular friend is about 2 feet tall, with a wingspan that is about triple his height. This majestic creature is as beautiful as loud, and to hear his hoot and screech remind us that nature is all around.

Owls are amazing creatures whose beauty can sometimes eclipse their abilities. An example of this is that since owls have 14 neck vertebrae, compared to a humans 7, they can turn their necks 270 degrees. In addition due to the membranes in the eyes, each of an owls eyes can move independently of each other.

When I received a copy of It’s Owl Good: An Adult Coloring Book by Christina Knott it inspired me to learn more about owls, from their coloring to their hunting habits.
