Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns: Adult Coloring Book Review

Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns Review and Giveaway

Adult Coloring Book SR DolphinsLiving so close to the ocean there are days that I literally hear the waves crash and smell the ocean air. As the ocean air wafts over the hill, it makes me wonder about the world on the other side of that hill.

As I sit and wonder of all the sea animals, I find the dolphins and whales most interesting. Dolphins are wide-ranging in size from 5 feet to 31 feet and can weigh from the pounds to the tons. While male dolphins are called “bulls”, and the females are called “calves” each are equally smart. These creatures are equal parts amazing and wonderful!

When I received a copy of Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns by Blue Star Coloring I thought of those playful, and smart sea creatures.

Let say that the products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Blue Star Publishing. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Adult Coloring Book: Stress Relieving Dolphin Patterns by Blue Star Coloring contains over 30 different images that’s pages details are playful, and showcase the dolphin in a diverse array of scenes and designs. Each image in the book’s complexity gradually progresses from beginner to expert-level difficulty.

Dolphins 3As I have mentioned in previous Blue Star reviews, the book, does not lie flat, but does not affect the function of the book. If you open the book wide and press down on the interior spine you will be able to crack the binding. Otherwise the book will not stay open on it’s own and a weight on the non coloring side would be helpful. This is not a reason to bot get the book and honestly the worst that happens is that it makes coloring a little more challenging. and this in no way affects the book.

If you want to remove the pages please note that the book is bound similar to traditional books, so take care when removing the pages. I use my typical recommendation which is to be cautious when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device such as scissors or a craft knife to get the page out since the images are close to the edges. Many of the pages cut close to the binding so take extra care when removing pages.

Dolphins 2I would recommend placing a piece of paper under the page to be colored to avoid bleeding through to other pages. This also will assist in the prevention of creating impressions on the following pages from pressing down to hard – which I am guilty of.

I absolutely loved the coloring book and the designs throughout it. With the summer months upon us, I love to take a trip to the beach to color and dream of what the dolphins are doing. This coloring book is sure to make you dream and wonder about those amazing ocean creatures.

I am very intrigued by deep-sea creatures. The Angler Fish is one of my favorites. Super-creepy, but very neat!

I love whales. Me and my husband went on a trip a few years back to visit his sister in Cape Cod, and I went on a whale watching tour. It was so beautiful!
