Earlier in the year I had the opportunity to review the range of Charlie’s Soap Products and they quickly became a favorite of mine! Since one of the biggest problem with household chores is the chemical element we are always looking for ways to reduce this harmful element.

One thing I have noticed when we do laundry is that they are loosing the softness, and after some research I realized that this was due to the hard water that is used by our community. After some further research I discovered that Charlie’s Soap, the company I discovered last year, has a booster for hard water that can be added to their laundry powder. I knew that I wanted to give this a try for my home!

Back when I was a new blogger, one of the first companies that I had the opportunity to review was Mamma Chia. Mamma Chia happens to be headquartered in the town over from me, and I see their truck at sampling’s around town.

Socks and blankets are my favorites. I am constantly on a search for the perfect socks- the perfect mix of comfortable, non-slip and durable.

Despite living in California, my temperature runs on the cool side, so each year come winter, I am cold. One of my favorite kitchen items is my crock pot. We love our crock pot so much that we have 3 of them. We have the big one, middle and a smaller one. I use the larger one for everything from pork to chicken.

Lately though it has been mentioned to me that I need to broaden our food selections and our pallettes, which made the arrival of a copy of Stock the Crock by Phyllis Good for review not only timely but also beneficial.

A couple of years ago I met a company at Expo West – Auromere – the “Ayurveda people”, I was recently given the opportunity to review a full size bottle of pre-shampoo and shampoo. I was eager to use a pre-shampoo to clean my hair of the impurities. At the time the booth was busy and I was halted by the wonderful smelling products that included not only personal care items such as incense, toothpaste’s and shampoo, just to name a few.
