PupBox: 9 Month Old Box Review

PupBox: 9 Month Old Box Review + Box Giveaway

When I was young we adopted a dog and while I tired puppy raising I was young and did not know what I was doing. I had little guidance, and due to my age, I was practically being raised with my puppy.

As pet guardians, we want to do the best for our pets and give them the best life we can. The downside is that we do not speak puppy and knowing what they need or want at each stage of their lives can be difficult.

As regular readers know, we are Shark Tank fans, and last year I saw a company featured that focuses on that special time in your puppies life. The PupBox Subscription Box is a monthly box tailored to the age and developmental stage your puppy is at.

Chewy Influencer: July 2017 – Fresh Step Litter

Fresh Step Hawaiian Aloha Scoopable Litter Review

I am so excited to announce that we are Chewy.com Influencers! What this means is that each month Chewy.com sends us an email with a selection of items that are for dogs, cats and small animals (birds and hamsters) for review. The items range from food, snacks, and supplies needed for pet guardianship. Each month I will bring you a different product that Maggee and Murfee will personally try out.

I was super excited to not only be accepted but then to have the chance to pick an item out for Maggee and Murfee this month. As I scrolled down the email, one item caught my eye – Fresh Step Cat Litter.

Cat Litter is a product that we always need and is always used. Since my cats are highly adaptable I had no hesitation with this litter change, since the brands we normally used would be different than this new one. I chose the Fresh Step Hawaiian Aloha Scoopable Litter and eagerly waited for the ubiquitous Chewy.com blue logo box.

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – June 2017

The best way to spend these summer days are with Meadow in the sun. my favorite is to watch her play. There is a local dog park that Meadow goes to where she is quite popular with the other dogs. At the park she is able to run, play and jump in an environment different than her home.

When I saw this months Pet Treater and the theme “Fun in the Sun”, I thought the timing was perfect. Continue reading

Pura Naturals Pet: Kitten Shampoo Review

Pura Naturals Pet: Calming Lavender and Tearless and Calming Shampoo Review + Giveaway

If there is one truth in my world, it is that I tend to be over protective of my cats. As far as I am concerned my pets are family and as such I am very protective of any product that goes on their bodies, or in their bodies.

I feel as though it is my job as their guardian is to provide the best possible life for them, while giving them everything that they need.

Given the fact that I have such a concern about what my cats are exposed to I am always looking for natural and organic products. When I heard that Pura Naturals Pet was expanding their product line to include 2 new products for cats I was curious.

An Introduction to I and Love and You

An Introduction to I and Love and You + A Giveaway

When I was young I thought that I would grow up and be a veterinarian. The biggest problem with this lofty plan was I could not stand to see an animal in any distress. Once the animal showed signs of pain, panic or discontent, I would react with tears and sympathy in abundance.

As a pet owner now I look for I look for companies that support the causes I believe in such as shelter adoption. The best is companies that also support animal welfare organizations and advocate for healthy and nutritious food options and in my searching I came upon I and Love and You.

Kitty Roo Sweatshirt Review

KittyRoo Sweatshirt Review + Giveaway

There are many things that pull at my attention throughout the day, the largest being the cats. When I say “the cats” really i mean Maggee. There is nothing that Maggee loves more than attention, and she will take it anytime and anyway she can.

One of her favorite things is to sit on our laps, with paw on the chest and head in prime position to bump into the chins of the humans.

I love this time with her and encourage it more than I probably should. A couple of months ago I started seeing a sweater for cat lovers called the KittyRoo Sweatshirt, Many friends had shared this with me, and after a couple of months, thought it time I get one for review.

Bright Bopper: Light Up Cat Toy Review + Giveaway

We have two cats, and with that two different personalities. One cat, Murfee, started his life very full of life and has he has gotten older (he is will be 5 in August of this year), there is notable slow down in high activity levels.

On the other hand, our other cat Maggee is full of life and full of playtime any time of day. There is literally never a time when she does not want to play, and it usually at full throttle.

When I recently was given an opportunity to review the Bright Bopper LED Light-Up Cat Toy, I was hoping the previous toy loving Murfee and always up for playtime Maggee would enjoy it.

There has been an addition in Meadow’s world – an official doggie door. What the addition of the doggy door has done is given her a new sense of freedom that until recently she did not completely have. With the addition of the doggie door it allows her to play and sleep in the sun whenever she feels the desire.

When I saw this months Pet Treater and the theme “Backyard Playtime”, I thought the timing was perfect. Continue reading

Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – April 2017

If there is one thing that Meadow likes, it is activity, and she is a ball of excitement and pure innocence. When I visit her she greets me at the door, and gives me a bark and then circles around me with excitement and the anticipation of attention gained. She is ready to play at any moment and humans just need to be ready.

When I saw this months Pet Treater and the theme “Spring into Action”, I thought they were describing Meadow and her personality. Continue reading
