There are few colors that I am unwilling to dye my hair – even deep reds. I have no fear. Once upon a time many years ago I decided to take my sandy blond hair and make it deep strawberry blond. At the time I did not tell anyone, and for most of my friends I provided them with a shock and awe they never saw coming.

Since then, while I have little fear, I understand how lucky I am with my sandy blonde “California girl” color. I still love to give friends and family a little shock and awe, when I saw a color enhancing line and colors of hair care from Bain de Terre I knew this would maintain natural look I have come to love.

There is no denying that I love my shampoo’s and conditioner combinations and this is nothing new. When I was younger I would see new hair cleaning product’s advertised and I would immediately want to get what was being shown and added to my collection of scents and varieties. There is something that I have recently learned – it is ok not to wash my hair every day. Hair makes natural oils, that while they can be unsightly, they are not bad for our hair.

I have mentioned in the past that I am lucky that overall, my hair over the years has remained undamaged. Despite my constant drastic coloring changes when I was young, my hair looks good today.

I have mentioned in the past that one of my favorite soaps to use is castile soap. The reason for this is that it is one of the most gentle soaps while remaining the most versatile and adaptable soaps on the market.

As I have gotten older I have seen the need products that are pure and simple. When I was young I loved things that smelled good, and really did not care about the product much further than that. I recently reviewed their set of exfoliating bar soaps and received a couple of samples of their liquid soaps. As I was washing my hands that night, I began wondering how this would do in other applications and was eager to give it a try.

As far as hair goes, I have gotten fairly lucky over the years, my hair seems to be the perfect combination of soft, curly and a wonderful natural color. Recently I had the opportunity to try Cremo Company and their men’s and women’s shaving creams, as well as their face wash and moisturizer. Each of these products are great, and live by a little goes a long way.

When they informed me that they had released a Lavender Shave Cream, I was excited to try it and have the added benefits of lavender when I shave! They also happen to make concentrated shaving creams, which means less of the product is needed to give a good shave.
