We got our cat after she was already named. The previous owners had a house fire and Abby was a survivor but when they moved, they got a place that didn’t allow kitties.

  2. Ryan Campbell

Before we had to find a new home for our cats, their names were Dagwood and Kirara (pronounced Key-la-la). Dagwood already had his name when we got him, and we gave Kirara her name from the character in Inuyasha.

We have 4 cats. Two were adult adoptions that were already named, the other two were rescued as kittens. We named one Zippy because he was fast and the other Lala because she was a dingbat. Their 13 and 14 now, Zippy isn’t so zippy anymore but Lala is still dingy! The two adult rescues are Mocha and Maverick, aka mayhem and mischief!

My husband names our cat Butthead but we call him Beanie, (more politically correct.)

My cat was found on a power line in front of our house. She was approximately 6 mos. old. She cried and walked back and forth between the power poles all night. I stayed up and outside with her, until she finally came down at 4 am. I was immediately her best friend. I never could find out where she came from and decided to keep her. I thought about naming her polecat or live-wire, but finally named her Daisy Mae. She is now 13 1/2 years old and has been a great friend. I have been blessed to have her.

My cat Makita is no longer with me because of cancer, I grabbed her name from the tools ‘ yes loll ๐Ÿ˜‰ The reason I named her that was because that same night she had been given to me instead of being thrown on the streets I had sold a saw from Makita, I took this as I should name her that loll :0 Oh! also with a saw you saw things up into pieces , and that is how I felt until she came into my life, I felt now I have a purpose again ..

I know I am strange loll

Our cats are Jackson and Little Boy. We adopted Jackson 16 & 1/2 years ago (he turns 17 sometime this July!) and he was named by the rescue group. Little Boy showed up on our property 8 & 1/2 years ago and my then 2 & 1/2 year old daughter named him since he was a boy cat and he was small.

Iโ€™ve been surfing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting
article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
