Auromere: Flowers & Spice Incense Review and Giveaway
When I was a teenager many of my friends burned incense. I on the other hand did not know what these smelly sticks were, so I erred on the side of caution. As I got older, and presumably wiser, I realized that these sticks were simply a simple way to make your environment smell better. Now that I am firmly in my 4th decade of life I realize that these sticks can have some mental and physical benefits.
When I was recently at the Natural Products Expo and as I was walking around and I came upon Auromere’s booth and was halted by the wonderful smelling products that included not only personal care items such as shampoo’s, toothpaste’s as well as the incense I received after the show for review.
Let me say that the products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Auromere. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
I received Auromere’s Flowers and Spice Incense 8 pack Sampler for review. The Flower & Spice Incense Sampler Pack includes Gardenia which radiates purity, Myrrh awakens the senses, Cinnamon is an invigorating, Coconut is a comforting scent, Parijata helps to inspire the soul, Vanilla is soothing, Musk that is energizing and Champa assists in psychological perfection. Each pack has 3 sticks that measure about 4 – 4.5 inches and each stick has an average burn time of about 15 minutes. The entire package of incense gives the user over 6 hours of burn time in a variety of scents.
My favorite scent was the Gardenia, for multiple reasons including how it smelled when it burned and the scent that it created. My second favorite was the Vanilla – the scent was a pure vanilla that made my home smell like I was boiling vanilla on the stove. The other scents were equally wonderful. Each scent was unique and each has it’s own purpose for your mental and physical relaxation. When Jason arrived home about 90 minutes after I burned the incense he could clearly smell it like I had just burned it 5 minutes prior. The odor stayed in my home, and was a nice strong smell that I continued to enjoy.
What I thought was unique about Auromere Incense is that not only do the incense smell really good, but 25% of the profits of each sale is dedicated each year to the support and development of Sri Aurobindo Centre of Integral Education in Icchapur, Orissa, India. Since becoming a center of education, they currently serve more than 200 students ranging from Kindergarten to 10th grade.
The incense sold by Auromere is not only a good company helping people, but in the words of my a friends of mine many years ago “Incense makes your house smell good!”.
