Plackers: Kids Flossers and Flosser Friend Review and Giveaway
When I was a young child it was determined early on that I would need braces at some point. I had a tooth that was literally coming out of my gums and growing over the other teeth – it was awful on school picture day. In addition to having mutant tooth my teeth also had a permanent film of gook on them. When the day finally came to get braces while my teeth were not perfect they were on their way.
I remember the day I got my braces off like it was yesterday – the excitement and the anticipation of what i would look like with straight teeth in the proper amounts and places was almost to much to handle. As I look back, I wonder if I would have had better oral hygiene as a child than my teeth would have been healthier. Now that I am an adult my concern sits more on the side of keeping the teeth I do have. I want to make sure that 50 years from now, I still have the teeth I was born with.
When I was contacted about reviewing Plackers Kids’ Flossers and Flosser Friend, despite them being geared toward children, I thought they might be a easy way for the adults to floss.
The Plackers Kids’ Flossers and Flosser Friend is an easy way for kids and even adults to floss.
The Plackers Kids’ Flossers come in 75 count packs and are available in Fruit Smoothie Swirl and come in 3 bright colors including yellow, blue and orange. Despite these being flavored there is little to no actual flavor to these. While these are geared towards kids, they work really well for adults as well.
Each Flosser has a dual grip handles which makes reaching the hardest of places, a little easier. If you do have children, the dual grip makes it easy for the adult to hold and reach the child’s teeth. These also make it easy for kids to floss on their own, and makes it easy for them to reach difficult spots.
The daily flossing for children as well as adults is important because it reduces tooth decay and promotes healthier gums. These are not only easy to use, removes plaque and food from teeth. Each Flosser includes a hi-tech fluoride filled floss and is ready to use.
The Flosser Friend is a convenient way to store the Flossers. The monkey shape provides an opening for the mouth for easy accessibility, and cute storage. The Flosser Friend comes with a 30 pack of Flossers, and can hold double that, although too many and it will spill from his “mouth”. A flip-top “mouth” makes accessibility easy for kids and adults, and it looks appropriate on a counter top.
It is important to set good oral hygiene habits at a young age, as we age those lessons become more important. Plackers helps instill these habits in a fun and easy way while making it accessible to adults and children. If you are looking for an easy, colorful floss that adults and kids can use, this is the flosser for you!!
