5 Reasons To Visit Sun Bum’s West Coast Office & Concept Store and Beach Combo Giveaway!

I could be one of the luckiest people in the world – I live right in the middle of a surf town – Encinitas, California.

If you have never heard of our town let me share a couple of facts with you – the main artery is the Coast Highway 101. Taking this iconic and scenic route is a favorite of Jason and I’s, and also a wonderful place to truly take in the wonder and true “vibe” of this surf town. With a population of almost 60,000 people, almost someone you encounter knows a mermaid or two.

My favorite thing about my town is the diversity I encounter and see daily. This is a town where you can not judge a book by its cover and if you do, then you are the naive one. Everyone here is friendly and there is no judgement for cutting out of the office at 3PM to hit the waves. This is a town that embraces beachy waves – in the sand or on a head of hair.

Taking all this into account it is no wonder that Sun Bum chose Encinitas as the location for its West Coast offices and Concept Store. Being that it was a mere couple miles down the 101, I decided it was time to support this newest addition to our town.

Here are my 5 reasons you have to stop in next time you are in Encinitas!

5 Reasons –

The Concept Store – This is a simple store to the left of the main offices and houses the entire line of Sun Bum’s product line. The store keeps the simple branding of the products and is not only bright, but a fun place to visit.

Limited Availability Product Available: Not only is this space open and inviting but there are some pretty unique products in this store. One item that we noticed was Sun Bum branded flasks and hackey-sacks. The items available range from the items Sun Bum is known for, to branded clothing, to gift items.

Near some pretty major beaches: This store is located in the heart of the North County surf scene. From Moonlight, Pipes to Swamis – this is the best surf in San Diego. Swamis known for its point break, and Moonlight for its vast amount of coastline this is the location for Surfers and Surf Brands.

Support of Local Community: If you check out the social media pages of Sun Bum you will see examples of community involvement in each community they enter and Encinitas is no different. In the short amount of time Sun Bum has been in the city they have had music performances, food events and have even more planned!

Free Sun Bum Swag: Yes, I know it is hard to believe but when you visit Sun Bum you can get a free sticker, free banana gumball or even a banana! They even have fun events on social media such as a couple of weeks ago they challenged bubble gum blowers to challenge the store manager for bubble gum bubbles – the winner got a free lip balm!

I encourage everyone who visits this part of San Diego to stop in this store – it is so much fun and if you are unable to visit, follow them on social media – they are always up to something!

I live in Texas and the heat and humidity is unbearable from july til mid september so I run before the sun comes up and then I can relax all day long indoors without feeling guilty.
