Whole Note Baking Mixes – Holiday 2016 Muffin Mix Giveaway
When i think of the the holidays, I think of a potluck style meal, where everybody brings their favorite side dish.
A couple of years ago I got over zealous and made over 7 different types of bread. I searched online, pinning boards and my bread recipe collection. I ended up making a couple of pumpkin bread’s, a couple of banana bread’s, a cranberry-apple bread, and a zucchini bread. The process was laborious and as one baked, another would be loaded into the oven.
Since that holiday, each time there is a potluck, I am the “official” bread baker of the family. With the added awareness of gluten sensitivities, my once simple bread making process has changed and I end up making 1/2 of the breads gluten-free.
With my bread making duties starting and the holidays approaching, I am looking for time-saving ways to create many loafs, minus the work. One way I have learned to save time is to purchase the “base” of the bread from Whole Note Food Company, and add the fresh fruits and vegetables to the mix prior to baking.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Whole Note Food Company and has affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review and all opinions are my own.
Whole Note Food Company wants to help make your baking easier and gluten-free this holiday season with a 3 pack of muffin mixes of your choice.
There are 4 mixes available including Cappuccino and Dark Chocolate Muffin Mix, Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix, Lemon Ginger Muffin Mix, and Create-A-Muffin Mix.
The Cappuccino & Dark Chocolate Muffin Mix was a simple mix that was a nice combination of the two main ingredients. These muffins were not grainy and did not leave an after taste. The Lemon Ginger Muffin Mix had the perfect mix of ginger with lemon. I plan to add a couple of slices of candied lemon on the top of the completed muffins.
The Create-A-Muffin Mix begins with a simple vanilla flavored muffin and gives the flexibility to add anything you would like to your muffins. I think that blueberries would be a good addition as well as bananas. I plan to make these for my birthday in a month to give myself a tasty banana muffin. The Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix has its fate already mapped out and it is coming in a couple of months. I will making this mix during the holidays for a gluten-free bread alternative for our gluten intolerant family members.
These are simple and easy mixes to make and only require eggs, milk and oil, while making 12 muffins per box. Each mix includes a Seven-Whole-Grain Gluten-Free Flour Blend that includes the following grains: Whole-Grain Brown Rice Flour, Whole-Grain Millet Flour, Whole-Grain Buckwheat Flour, Tapioca Flour, Whole-Grain Oat Flour Garbanzo & Fava Bean Flour, Whole-Grain Sorghum Flour, and Whole-Grain Teff Flour.
A recent winner of the American Masters of Taste’s SUPERIOR TASTE Gold Medal Award Whole Note Food’s has a motto of not giving up until the recipe sings and they have hit all the right notes with these mixes.
If you want a gluten-free mix that will make your taste bud sing a high note, try Whole Note’s Muffin Mixes!
