Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome – August 2016 Review

Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome – August 2016 Review

mystery-box-of-awesome-august-2016-contentsI am a collector of many items, from paper to gadgets. I think that this collecting nature started when I was a child. I had board games that were my mothers, and patches from my father’s high school days.

Now that I have a house, I realize that space is a commodity and am always looking for ways to make the space stretch further than it looks on the surface. The problem with being a collector is that I have a collection of the most random items from hammocks to cat toys. I am a believer that each item I may not want would make a great holiday gift, so I save and collect.

I also love adding to this collection each month and the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome by That Daily Deal.com helps me collect items that I did not know I wanted! Each month no theme is chosen, but rather a selection of random gender neutral items that will undoubtedly meet a need in your life that you never knew was missing.

Mini Monthly Box of Awesome – July 2016 Review

Mini Mystery Box July 2016I am a fan of random – I like the unpredictability and the surprise that comes with it.

I think that in life, there should be an equal balance of random and planned with the number skewing for each person. I think that random can be a positive good thing and I think that is what keeps like the most interesting and unpredictable.

Normally you can control the random in your life, except when you sign up for a Mini Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome by That Daily Deal.com. Each month, similar to the regular box that is offered, no theme is chosen. Instead of theme a random selection of gender neutral items are included.

Hallmark Jigsaw Puzzles Review

Hallmark Jigsaw Puzzles – Ripe for Picking – Review & Giveaway

Ripe for PickingAbout 5 years ago Jason and I would spend our evenings doing puzzles and listening to the local police scanner (haven’t done it, I highly recommend it to you – no better way to know what is happening in your neighborhood). Jason would play computer games, and I would sit at our kitchen table putting together 1000 piece plus puzzles. I would let the puzzle sit on our kitchen table until completion and gluing. What has resulted is a different and colorful art collection that I pieced together.

When I recently was given the opportunity to review a puzzle of my choice from Hallmark, it seemed obvious that with my love of bright colors and labels I would choose “Ripe for Picking Vintage Fruit Labels” which was a nice size at 1000 pieces.
