Quest Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book Review

Quest: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book – Blue Star Master Collection Review and Giveaway

QuestMany people do not know but when Jason was a teenager he was an avid Dungeons and Dragons player. Often times he would run his own campaigns and act as Dungeon Master.

Since we were best friends, I would go over on these nights and color while I listened to the tale that was unfolding next to me. I would imagine these worlds that Jason was describing and the colors came to life. In stark contrast I would be coloring cartoon characters and rainbows while listening to more of a medieval tale.

I would have loved to have a coloring book that reflected the story I was listening to. When I received a copy of Quest: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book from the Blue Star Master Collection by Samantha Johnson, my first thoughts was all those nights I spent listening and this book was the imagery behind the tale.

Quest: Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book from the Blue Star Master Collection by Samantha Johnson contains over 40 enchanting, full-page spreads featuring fauns and fairies. Also contained within these images is a visual story.

Quest Image 2This book from the Master Collection is bound like a traditional book, and has quotes about wolves and the howl throughout. Also included is a page that explains color blending and color ideas. Although the book, does not lie flat, this does not affects the book, and in fact gives you the feeling you are coloring in an exclusive and high quality coloring book.

Quest PulloutIf you want the book to lie flat you can open the book and press down on the interior spine, which will then create a crease that will let the book be flat. Otherwise the book will not stay open on its own and you will have to either weigh the opposite down while coloring. THis book also has a couple of pages at the end that fold out into double pages.

If you want to remove the pages take care when removing the pages. I use my typical recommendation to be cautious when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device such as scissors or a craft knife to get the page out. Many of the pages cut close to the binding so take extra care when removing pages.

Quest Image 1The paper used in this book is a bit thicker than other “Non-Master Collection” Blue Star coloring books. Despite this I would still recommend placing a piece of paper under the page to be colored to avoid bleeding through to other pages. This also will assist in the prevention of creating impressions on the following pages.

Once colored you will end up with a nice book that will be appropriate for a shelf, coffee table or even a gift. I loved this book and it brought back many happy memories while giving me an upscale book to color in. If you want a story within images in a coloring book than Quest is the book for you!

Yes, I played make believe with my sister and cousins. We played “Rich, Richer and Richest and Bruce” who was the boyfriend. We didn’t have a lot of toys or stuff so we relied on make believe. It was one of the happiest times of our lives. Life was simple

I did make believe growing up with my brother. I wanted to be a teacher and was always trying to teach him different subjects.

My siblings and I used to dress up and put on plays for friends and family.. we made up our own fairy tales. Great memories. Thanks for allowing me to share! ❤
