Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – August 2016
We are embarking on Miss Meadow’s first birthday, and as the year has progressed as has her looks. Meadow is pure bred combination of Australian Labrador and Standard Poodle, and she carries the standard traits that this breed of dog shares. Laberdoodles are known to be energetic, happy and friendly dogs and this could not describe her more.
Jason had not seen Meadow since she was a couple of month’s old, so this visit was welcome on dog and human side. As I see her personality blossom, I keep thinking her future is in the doggy model industry. As for coloring her red is coming through with curly soft fur.
This months Pet Treater theme was “Best in Show” which made me think of Meadow’s fine lineage and how much of a show dog she could potentially be.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Pet Treater/Jammin Butter. This post may contain affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
Each month I am blown away by the quality and contents of the Pet Treater Box and again is even better than the month before. Meadow is now level out on growth and is settling nicely in to medium size dog so I am reviewing the medium dog box. The July box was a thoughtfully curated glamour themed box that maintained the theme of “Best in Show”.
Here is a breakdown of the items that were in my/Meadow’s July Pet Treater box:
Juicy Crittoure Grooming Set: Any show dog that wants to be “best in show” must start with the grooming. This is a cute shampoo/conditioner/brush set that included One (1) Shampooch Shampoo/Shampooing – 8 oz (240 ml), One (1) Coif Fur Moisturizing Conditioner/ Apres-Hydratant – 8 oz (240 ml) and One (1) Dog Brush. As I have mentioned in the past Meadow is strictly a salon patron, but I will be using the brush on Maggee and Murfee.
Grriggles Unstuffies – Large Aligator: Since Meadow is a one dog destruction machine, toys are short lived and fleeting in her life. This toy contains a puncture-resistant squeaker and is stuffing free – which my father’s floor will appreciate. I loved this and thought it very cute.
Multipet – Nuts for Knots Rope/Rubber Ball: Meadow loves items that she can take with her, including balls. The minute I tossed this she bounded after it and brought it on her favorite spot on the couch. I love the mix of rubber and rope, and I can tell this will help her teeth with each grip!
Smart N’ Tasty Chicky Twizzies: This is a 6 inch twisted stick that is suppose to be chicken flavor. Now I can not verify if it tastes like chicken but I would assume it does. These are made with real chicken and have no foul odor, do not cause any staining, and have 100% digestibility,
Guardian Gear Insect Shield Bandana: I love bandanas on dogs, despite the fact they are not fond of them. This one is an insect shield and will supposedly last over 70 washing’s. As an added bonus this is effective and an odorless insect protection and is designed to protect pets from biting insects. This is perfect for those long summer nights when insects like to come out.
Dingo Market Cuts Treats: These are Chicken and Sweet Potato flavored treats that are Made in the USA. These are made with slices of sweet potato and real chicken and are made with high quality USA sourced ingredients that contain no chicken by-products, artificial flavors or colors. As an added bonus these are gluten-free.
Black Bow Tie: I will be honest, Meadow never had a change to actually get to keep this cute bow tie. I saw it in the box and decided that Maggee needed a bow in her life. As lucky would have it, Meadow is a dark dog and therefore a black bow would have gotten lost in her fur or at least my justification for the theft. On Maggee it stands out and makes her “Best in Show”.
Treats for Human and Dog: Each month Pet Treater includes a present for the guardian of the animal. This month was a copy of Stuff On My Mutt, which is a collection of dogs with items on their heads.
Pet Treater is a monthly subscription box that is geared 90% toward your dog, and 10% for the human who loves them. Each month the staff at Pet Treater treat’s your best friend with quality times that you both will love. Each box generally include treat’s, a couple of interactive toy’s as well as surprise for the human! Each box is different depending on the breed and size of your dog – and while there is a difference you can expect to receive a box comparable to the one I am showing you here.
