Pet Gift Box – Cat – Subscription Box – May Review and Giveaway
When I was young I had a tabby cat named Rebecca, named after my middle name. I really loved Rebecca and despite the allergies my father suffered he let me keep her, or so believed at the time. Now to this day I do not remember the day or circumstances but one day Rebecca was replaced by a Guinea Pig. I remember at the time promising myself that when I was on my own I would get another cat and be the best guardian of all time.
Flash forward 30 plus years and anyone who knows me knows that I love my Muggles – Murfee and Maggee like they are equal residents of our house as the humans (yes, I know they are not). I love to have a lot of things around our house for stimulation since they are strictly indoor cats. I believe the more toys they have to play with, surface to scratch and treats to eat the happier cats they will be.
My philosophy of how my cats should live is not always appreciated or supported in society but I am constantly seeking new things for them to enjoy. In my search I came upon a monthly subscription box with Muggles in mind. Pet Gift Box is a specially curated box with dogs and cats in mind, tai
loring the boxes from petite dogs, hefty hounds and cats.
The boxes are addressed to the animal and is personalized to your pet on the outside, giving the immediate feeling that this collection was put together for your pet. I loved seeing something in the mail for the cats, and thought it was a very cute personalized touch. The box was nicely organized inside, and upon first opening you have to move the tissue paper to see what is contained inside, which included the following:
Multipet Cat Loofa – $3.99 (per PGB): A 10″ elongated catnip crinkle toy. This reminded me of a green big toothed monster. The entire middle crinkles and makes the cats think they are killing something. The toy is infused with catnip which makes the cat constantly want to hunt and play. I am happy to say that both cats loved and continue to play with it.
U.S. Army Pet Throw -$14.99 (per PGB): It could not have been more appropriate receiving a US Army blanket. My father served in the US Army as Medic in Germany. I have always felt a loyalty and pride toward the Army and am proud that the Muggle’s have something Army branded for them.
Pawbreakers Cat Nip Natural Treat – $3.49: This is a solid ball of catnip. Maggee does not get excited by catnip (we have read that some cats are just not interested or effected by catnip) but Murfee needs help. He will lick, eat, roll and play in all the catnip we will allow. This was an out of the park hit in our house and for Murfee!
Patriotic Car Magnet by Imagine This – $11.47: I recently got a new car and have been wanting an animal themed magnet for my car, so I was really excited to receive this. I like that this will not ruin the paint job or cause any residue. It is made of a flexible and soft magnet that sticks to the back of my trunk perfectly.
Kitty Kaviar – $13.07: I had never heard of Kitty Kaviar before but you would think Maggee had. These are thin shaved Bonito flakes and she loved them. She will eat as many as I allow her and have to be careful not to turn my back (as displayed in the photo). Murfee smelled them but was uninterested in trying them.
The only problem I encountered was that Murfee seemed to know that this was his box and I had to keep pushing him away so I could have the first look.
PetGiftBox supports America’s Vet Dog’s which provides disabled veterans and service members with specially trained assistance dogs.
The total value of this box came to $47.11 vs the $27.99 monthly cost which equals a gain of $19.62 – a great value! I highly recommend this box to all animal lovers and all animal guardians.
Each month you can choose if you want a cat or dog themed box and monthly subscriptions are $27.99/month – pay as you go, $22.99/month – 3 month membership, $19.99/month – 6 month membership, $19.99/month – 12 months membership and shipping is included in the cost each month.

Cool giveaway!
The cat’s favorite toy is a felt mouse.
I got my dog a rubber pull toy that she just loves.
My favorite toy is actually one my mom bought for them. It’s a little mat full of crinkly stuff and it has a mouse on one corner, feathers on another, etc. It also has a couple zipper pockets to stuff with catnip. I can’t tell you how many fights they’ve had over it and one of them is always playing with it.
A 3-tiered cat scratcher from Costco.
We want to get one like that for the Muggles!
I don’t have any cats, but my dogs love their squeaky balls.
My cat loves her rubber ball on a string.
Best cat toy has been the cat nip balls you can buy. Cats go crazy.

I’d have to say that as far as our cats are concerned – especially my daughter’s cat, Arata – the laser light toy I bought for them is both their and my favorite.
The laser we bought gets so much use that the light is dim.. out Muggles love the laser toy more then any other toy we own!
the circular tube with a ball
My cats like their cat nip balls!
They like their wand toy
I got him a little mouse with catnip in it and he loves it.
So far the laser pointer is the best toy for my cat that we have both enjoyed.
Our cats know the click of the pointer.. so cute to see!
we got a fishing rod with a mouse dangling on the end, and he LOVES chasing it
I will have to try a fishing rod!
My cat loves feather wands.
Our cats love feathers! We have a toy that has feathers on each end that they groom and love!
I think if I just dropped feathers at their paws they would be totally happy!
his movement cat scratcher where the feathers turn when he approachers
Yep, feathers are popular in my house with the Muggles.
My cats go nuts for this little toy mouse that squeeks on a string!
Have you ever tried a laser mouse? Our cats LOVE it and know it by the click it makes!
my favorite toy I got my cat was a remote control mouse, they love it
My favorite toy I bought for my cat was a toy hamster that moves around the floor.
Some love the laser pointer, but Trevor loves noisy/crinkly packaging!
Crinkle anything is a hit in this house!
Any toy that dangles off a stick gets their attention!
That sounds like the Muggles!
Our Muggles love to chase things and then toss them in the air and bat it around!
