My Paper Pumpkin JuneMy Paper Pumpkin June Kit Review and Giveaway

When I was young I was taught it was proper to send thank you cards and acknowledgement of events and moments in other people’s lives. As I have gotten older some of the memorabilia I treasure the most is those old cards that I sent as a child and were returned to be as a an adult.

I  had the chance to review My Paper Pumpkin’s kit box’s previous months box (click here). I was thrilled to be given the chance to review this months box as well. The theme for June was named “Happy Thoughts”.

The basic idea of this months kit is that you can create different cards for a Birthday or other happy times. I love the idea of a card in which your simply put together the elements and the result is a cute card.

Happy Thoughts KitThis little 10 by 6.5 size box comes packed with the items you need to complete the project for the month. Included in this months box were the following:

Included with each box is not only written instructions with photos but there is an instructional video also available (online) to help you complete the project of the month.

20150705_212855The stamp choice is appropriate for a birthday, baby, a celebration, housewarming or even a get well soon. The ability and versatility with the 5 stamps included makes this kit usable for all the above occasions and more!

Included was a stamp pad in Tip Top Taupe, which once stamped is a shade of brown which coordinated really well with the kraft cards and the embellishments. The paper included comes in many colors which make this kit even more versatile, as well as having different size envelopes and stickers for variety and originality.

20150705_214544Again this kit did not disappoint and I would not hesitate to spend the monthly fee on this card set. The value of the cards and envelopes surpass what you would spend on the equivalent product at a store. When you add in the handmade aspect this becomes a priceless set.

My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up boxes are available for $19.95/month, $59.85/3 months, $113.70/6 months and $215.40/12 months and the shipping is included in the cost. The 6-month is a total savings of about $6, about a $1 a month savings and the 12-month is total savings of about $24, so about a $2 a month savings thus ends up totaling the amount of receiving one kit free.

I love nature crafts….I visit the shore every year and come back with bucketfuls of my finds, which I then make into various items to display around my house. It is a lot of fun, and gives me unique ways to display my souvenirs!

I got a variety pack of washi tape and made a couple pen holders ( I just realized I never posted about them, so stay tuned for that post coming soon!) and my husband used to do origami 🙂
