I have mentioned in the past that I am a nostalgic girl and I love to send handwritten cards and letters to my friends. I am also a scrapbooker and paper crafter. which is a wonderful full cycle of the greeting card /gift wrap process for me to complete.

I have loved Stampin’ Up’s stamps for as long as I have been a scrapbooker, and have been curious about their monthly subscription program. I recently had the chance to review the My Paper Pumpkin’s May 2015 kit box. The theme for May was a birthday theme named “Birthday Bundle”.

This little 10 by 6.5 size box comes jammed packed with the items you need to complete the project for the month. Included in this months box were the following:

My Paper Pumpkin May Kit

The main idea behind this kit is that the bag and card is in one package for easy gift wrapping and gift giving. The stamps allow for stamping a message on the die cut shapes and then you can place them on the card at any angle or order you would like.

My Paper Pumpkin May KitThe stamp selection is appropriate for a birthday related gift, to a celebration, housewarming or even a get well soon. The ability and versatility with the 5 stamps included makes this kit usable for all the above occasions and more!

My Paper Pumpkin May KitThe bag included is sturdy and has a ribbon closer for those people who like to peek in on their gifts prior to opening. I love the idea of having everything I need from card to packaging in one unique project that is quick and also handmade. The color is bright and evokes an excitement about what is inside. The card design and the bag design coordinate well together and are simple line and dot designs.

Included with each box is not only written instructions with photos but there is an instructional video also available (online) to help you complete the project of the month.

I can honestly tell you that this kit did not disappoint and I would not hesitate to spend the monthly fee on this kit. The value of the wrapping material and cards (there are 4 bags and 6 cards) surpass store-bought packaging, then add in the reusable stamps and this is a great deal.

My Paper Pumpkin by Stampin’ Up boxes are available for $19.95/month and the shipping is included in the cost.
