Color Your Christmas Adult Coloring Book Review

Color Your Christmas: A Crafty Christmas Adult Coloring Book Review + Giveaway

color-your-christmasWe are about 6 weeks until Christmas and I am already seeing the signs and icons of the season. Each time I go to the store I see more and more reds, greens and golds.

My favorite thing about the holidays is something that I rarely experience – snow and snowmen. I have begun collecting these white balls of personality, and dream of seeing a white Christmas.

For the time being the closest I can get is on television and my own imagination. I love adult coloring books for this reason – I can let my imagination run wild. When I received the Color Your Christmas:A Crafty Christmas Adult Coloring Book by Blue Star Premier and Suzy Joyner I was eager to see images of the upcoming season.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Blue Star Publishing. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Color Your Christmas:A Crafty Christmas Adult Coloring Book by Blue Star Premier and Suzy Joyner by Blue Star Premier contains over many designs over many different categories, such as bookmarks, recipe cards, colorable ornaments to trim the tree, wrapping paper and tags  and colorable cards and coasters.

color-your-christmas-pull-out-imageAlso included are a couple of pull outs that are 4 page images to color, which I loved.

recipe-cardsThis holiday collection is bound like a traditional book, and has dotted lines for easy removal if removal is necessary. The paper is heavyweight and artist-grade that is thick and allows for experimentation with different coloring media.

If you want the book to lie flat you can open the book and press down on the interior spine, which will then create a crease that will let the book be flat. Otherwise the book will not stay open on its own and you will have to either weigh the opposite down while coloring.

all-quiet-in-the-houseThe paper used in this book is a bit thicker than other Blue Star coloring books but despite this I would still recommend placing a piece of paper under the page to be colored to avoid bleeding through to other pages. This also will assist in the prevention of creating impressions on the following pages.

I love having options, especially during the holiday seasons! This collection screams the holidays from the minute you open the book. I know you will want a hot chocolate while you color from the book, it just exudes the holidays!

Get this book and start getting in the holiday season!

Our favorite Christmas tradition is reading the story of Jesus birth with the family and watching Its A Wonderful Life together with extended family, we also play the Wonderful Life Game – we are big on competition between the families
