BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review – April Box

BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – April Box

20150225_171318Calm, Peaceful and Serene, these are all words I would use to describe yoga but not myself. I love that I get this monthly box of calm and peacefulness in my mailbox.

April BuddhiBoxA couple of months ago I had the opportunity to review the February BuddhiBox (click here to see that review) and was lucky enough to have a chance to review the new April box.

When I opened the box I was again greeted by wonderfully folded green tissue paper and 3 cardboard information cards sealed with a sticker. One card had the “Goddess Pose” pose that shows the pose as well as the benefits and cautions when using that pose. There was a recipe for a “Blueberrry Bliss Goddess Bars” that is made using only 4 ingredients (coconut, blueberries, maple syrup and vanilla beans). The final information card included was a box content listing and the following quote:

I bow to all woman. To our strength, to our softness, to our wisdom, to our beauty. – Elena Brower

I began to dig in this new curated adventure with excitement and I was not disappointed. I have included individual reviews of the items in the box and the box overall. Included in the box was the following items:

Inspiration Mat Stickermy mat my mantra inspirational mat sticker – $6.00: I received a cute mat stickers that says “Space for Magic”. This is a green and white mat sticker and measures about 3″ in diameter.

prAna HeadbandprAna Organic Headband – $10.00: I had been wanting something like this for a while so I was pleased to see a blue one included in this months box. This is a 92% cotton and 8% spandex headband that can be used wide or scrunched. While I was checking out the tag on the headband, I noticed that they were a local Carlsbad company – it is nice to see local companies making quality products.

20150425_183736Toesox Casual Knee High Socks – $16.00: Not the expected place for a confession, but confess I must: I love socks! I can not get enough socks so when saw socks in this box my heart leapt with excitement. I received the gray socks with a ombre red striped pattern on the top. These have places for each toe and are wonderful socks to wear around the house or to the yoga studio. Retail price is $16.00

20150425_18243120150427_191840Amazing Grass Lemon Coconut Bar and Amazing Meal Original – $6.00: If you are a wheat grass fan then you will love this bar and meal supplement. I made the Amazing Meal with 10oz of water and the drink was reminiscent of wheat grass. This contains 11 grams of whole proteins.

20150425_182630Stinky Yogi pranayama Essential Oil – $12.00: This essential oil is a wonderful combination peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary and lemon. The scent reminded me of a handful of eucalyptus leaves when they are crushed in your hand. The scent got my blood flowing and is pleasant to smell. I plan to soak a cotton ball and place it next to my bed for a nice wake-up each day.

20150425_182440Yogi Tea Sample and Coupon – $3.00 *Bonus Item*: I received the Skin Detox which supports a healthy glow and Healthy Skin in a  Cinnamon Vanilla flavor. I love to have a cup of tea before I go to bed, so I look forward to having these. Also, included was a coupon for $1.00 off any box of Yogi Tea.

The retail price on this box was $53.00, so an overall awesome value.
