BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway

BuddhiBox Monthly Subscription Review and Giveaway – February 2015 Box

If you are anything like me you know A LOT of people who love yoga. If you do know one of these enthusiasts I would highly recommend getting them a BuddhiBox monthly subscription. This carefully curated box of items help to enhance any yoga session or any post yoga session.

20150225_171318I was unsure what to expect in my BuddhiBox, and I can tell you at the very least I was not disappointed. The box was a perfect 6x6x6 square of corrugated thin cardboard.

20150225_171949When I opened the box I was greeted by wonderfully folded green tissue paper and 3 cardboard information cards sealed with a sticker. One card had the “Wheel/Upward Bow” pose that shows the pose as well as the benefits and cautions when using that pose. There was a recipe for a “H2O Nutrition Vegetarian Taco Salad” that is made in a mason jar and super easy to make. The final information card included was a box content listing and the following quote:

love is the bridge between you and everything – Rumi

As I dug into contents of the box I was overcome with a sense that I was discovering the greatest new craze. I have included individual reviews of the items in the box and the box overall. Included in the box was the following items:

20150225_172230Chuao Chocolatier ChocoPods – $1.00/each: I received spicy maya and potato chip chocolates. The spicy maya is described as seductive cinnamon, pasilla chile and warming cayenne in a dark chocolate and it was not as spicy was one would think with chiles included. The potato chip is a mini chocolate bar with a crisp kettle cooked potato chip with a hint of sea salt. The salting was perfect and sweet – the perfect combination.

20150225_225456Shiva Prayer Scarf – $20.00: This Shiva Prayer Scarf is not only good size but a wonderful tonal spectrum of the color purple. These are made in India and can be used in the yoga studio or out, I used mine over a pair of leggings and t-shirt at the beach and was very comfortable.

20150225_225301Kiss my Honey Organic Lip Balm – $4.00: I got the mint version of this organic, natural, paragon and chemical free lip balm. The ingredients include organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, Organic peppermint oil and Vitamin E to name a few. This is also a cruelty free product, so you can use it and feel good about what you are using.

20150225_225323Chakra Love Crystal Talisman – $22.00: I received the “Sodalite” Talisman, that brings intuition, insight and meditation. Sodalite is known to bring inner peace, and it is the stone for athletes as it can improve endurance while promoting peace and harmony.

20150225_225350Soul Sparks Bracelet – $4.00: I love the message of this bracelet which is “what goes around comes around”. This adjustable bracelet is a reminder for all of to live honestly and to remember to speak lightly, think bravely and pay it forward.

20150225_173715House of Good Juju Aura Cleansing Tea Light Candle – $2.50: The first thing that I noticed about this light blue soy tea light candle was the couple of gems and herb pieces on the top. They say that your aura says a lot about you, and it can send unconscious signals to others. This candle can help cleanse and restore your aura to its regular state.

The retail price on this box was $54.50.

Monthly subscriptions are $30.95/month, $27.95/month – 6 months membership, $25.95/month – 12 months membership with a mini-box available for $11.95/month. They currently ship to United States, Alaska, Hawaii and Canada for an additional $3.99.
