Adult Coloring Books: The Ultimate 7-in-1 Collection Review and Giveaway
I have a confession – I love a new coloring book. There is something special about cracking open the first page of a coloring book, and perusing through the pictures. I like to imagine the colors I plan to use on each picture to help me make my decision of what I will be coloring. Sometimes I can get lost in the imagery and color.
There is also something else special about coloring and that is when you crack open a new box of crayons. The color and the smell of the wax fills your mind with the possibility of color and combination. The tips and the crayons new and full of options.
When you combine these two factors, what results is an experience of imagination and color combinations. I was thrilled when I received the Adult Coloring Books: The Ultimate 7-in1 Collection because it so happens I have a new crayon box to break in.
The Adult Coloring Books: The Ultimate 7-in1 Collection contains 150 different images to color. There are sections to each theme including butterflies, horses, flowers, tattoos, patterns, paisley and mandalas. Each sheet is one-sided which makes it easy to tear for display. Each section has anywhere from 18 to 30 designs per section, and are wide-ranging within the section.
The designs are easy to color, and the lines vary depending on the photo and range from bold to thin but the common links is that each is easy to color. While the book, unfortunately, does not lie flat you will be able to crack the binding which will create a flat surface.
I also want to mention that it is important to note that the book’s pages are glued to the binding, making tearing the picture out a little more difficult. My recommendation is to take care when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device to get the page out. There is room around the photo to cut a border out if you decide to frame your masterpiece.
As I do with many coloring books, I recommend a piece of paper under the page you are coloring when using pens to avoid bleed through to other pages. If you are using colored pencils or crayons this will not be a concern, but I would still place a paper in between the pages to keep the clean flat nature of the next pages.
This book is truly an ultimate collection of images and coloring pages that will cater to every like, love or interest.
I HIGHLY recommend Adult Coloring Books: The Ultimate 7-in1 Collection by Blue Star Publishing
