Coloring Book for Adults: Stress Relieving Stained Glass Review and Giveaway
I will be honest and say that of all the things that I think about in an average day, generally speaking glass is not one the items. Recently I have been looking at glass differently than I have in the past.
The main reason for this is that recently Jason and I were at a wedding and the centerpiece to the ceremony was a beautiful and intricate stained glass that was handmade and represented the journey the couple went through to reach the point they were on that special day. This piece was a collaboration between bride. groom and glass artist.
Throughout the day we were noticing different elements and we enjoyed interpreting the glass pieces. Upon our return home, whenever either Jason or I sees stained glass we stop and look and interpret the piece. When I received a copy of Coloring Book for Adults: Stress Relieving Stained Glass by Blue Star Coloring I instantly remembered that fantastic glass piece.
Coloring Book for Adults: Stress Relieving Stained Glass by Blue Star Coloring contains over 30 stained glass images to color. Each of the glass images in this coloring book range in line thickness and in intricacy of image. The images in the book simple shape stained glass, birds and flowers as well as other intricate panels.
The first thing I thought of when I saw the images in this book was color. The color of that stained glass we saw, and the way the light reflects and dances off the different panels.
If there is a downside it is that the book does not lie flat. If you open the book wide and press down on the interior spine you might be able to crack the binding. Otherwise the book will not stay open on it’s own and this makes coloring a little more challenging.

If you want to remove the pages please note that the book is binded much like traditional books are, so take care when removing the pages. I use my typical recommendation which is to be cautious when tearing or removing the page or use a cutting device such as scissors or a craft knife to get the page out. Many of the pages cut close to the binding so take extra care when removing pages.
My usual recommendation applies for this stained glass coloring book. I placed a piece of paper under the page I was coloring to avoid bleeding through to other pages or creating impressions on the following pages. I used a pen that is usually used for stamping, but the colors are perfect with he stained glass. Please remember, if you do not let the image dry you run the risks of smudging your piece of art – I have learned my lesson on this one!
