Soap Box Soaps: Tea Tree Hair Care Review

SoapBox Soaps: Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner Review + Giveaway

tea-tree-shampoo-and-conditionerI have always been lucky when it comes to my hair. I have naturally blond hair and lots of natural curl. The more I encourage it while drying, the more curl I can achieve.

The one problem I have had since I was a young teenager is dandruff. As I have gotten older the situation has improved dramatically – and it is merely brief boughts of dandruff rather than the snow storm it used to me.

As I have gotten older I have began to turn to more natural remedies for the things. One of the more natural ways to get rid of dandruff is with the use of tea tree. This can be in the form of drops in your current shampoo or the purchase of a shampoo containing the oil.

Recently SoapBox Soaps released a couple of new shampoo’s and conditioners including a Tea Tree set. I can tell you that this set will not only nourish your hair, but with each use will make you feel good about purchasing and using this set.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of SoapBox Soaps. This post may contain affiliate links, but this in no way influences the review to follow.

I was sent a bottle of each of the 16 oz bottle of *NEW* Tea Tree Shampoo and 1 – 16 oz bottle of *NEW* Tea Tree Conditioner for review.

This is not the first time I have reviewed SoapBox and as I have mentioned in previous reviews, this company may be small but it is making a big impact with each product they sell.

Since I have been having issues with a bit of dandruff, this came at the perfect time. I could smell the Tea Tree from the moment I opened the bottles. Each 16oz bottle of shampoo and conditioner, I used about a quarter size quantity to lather and condition my hair. As with other hair care in the SoapBox line up. there were not as many suds as I was used to. I think it is important to not that this did not affect my overall impression of the shampoo.  Once I rinsed, I applied the conditioner, which rinsed easily and left my hair feeling soft.

tea-tree-code-soapbox-soapsSoapBox Soaps also have a “buy one, they give one”. What this means is that with every product purchased, SoapBox Soaps donates 1 month of clean water. Each product has a code on the packaging, and if you go to the website and enter the code you can see what and where your “buy one, they give one” product went. As seen above, the code from this product went to Cambodia for water.

The company’s wide range of soaps, are Non-GMO, Vegan, Certified B Corp, EDTA Free, gluten-free, sulfate free, paraben free, and petrochemical free. In addition they use 100% recyclable materials that are made in the USA.

This is a great shampoo and conditioner combo and each time I use SoapBox Soaps I am reminded that they are exactly what I love about soap – easy to use, smells good and makes a big global impact.

Nope, I only condition my hair whenever I wash it, which I don’t do every day. Every two days or so. 🙂

  2. Debbi Wellenstein

I do have to condition my hair daily, otherwise it just flies away!

  3. Arielle

Yes, I condition my hair daily, but don’t use a silicone-based conditioner.

  4. Darcy Koch

Not daily but I do each time I wash it which is usually 3 times a week and mostly to keep it from getting tangled.

  5. Brooke Allen

I condition my hair every time I wash it, so usually every day. I have to have a decent conditioner too. Otherwise it’s hard to comb.

I would like to try those! I color my hair often and I need to use conditioner every time I wash my hair.

I wash my hair every other day and use shampoo and conditioner.
    Thanks for the contest.
