US Organic Beeswax Giveaway
Often times there are moments that I will see a creature in nature and be in absolute awe and when I see Bees, I have this moment.
Sometimes I wonder if their is nothing that these miracles workers can’t do. They work in in a hive mentality, with the goal of keeping the queen safe. The was is produced on the side of a bees abdomen and is only produced when their is nectar flow. To product the was the bees get together to increase their temperature and thus wax is produced (amazing huh!?).
When I was approached about giving a bag of US Organic’s Organic Beeswax Yellow Pastilles, I was curious to learn more about this natural wax.
The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of US Organic. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.
I received a sample bag of US Organic’s Organic Beeswax Yellow Pastilles.
While I was surprised at the small size of the pellets, I quickly realized this allowed for precise use and easy melting. These pastilles can be used in candles, lip balm, cream, lotion and even deodorant just to name a few.
Beeswax can combust if heating above 200 degrees and at a mere 84 degrees it changes its color, and depending on where it is foraged is why even these pellets will range in shade. Since beeswax is an all natural substance and Honeybees consume honey and pollen to produce the wax. It takes about eight pounds of honey to produce just one pound of beeswax.
In addition beeswax has antibacterial properties helping keep things clean and reducing risks of contamination. Beeswax is an edible, natural, waterproof and moisturizing substance that is nothing short of amazing.
US Organic’s Organic Beeswax Yellow Pastilles are 100% USDA Certified and are specially filtered to be free of debris and are beyond easy to use. This is made from the highest premium quality cosmetic grade organic beeswax and is packaged at GMP & USDA certified facilities as well as being in a FDA-registered facility in the U.S. The materials are sourced from India, Argentina, China, and Turkey. Available in 3 sizes (4oz, 8oz, 16oz) which makes for easy crafting purposes.
If you want a natural wax that works for any DIY you can think of this is the wax for you!
