Soap Box Soaps: Bamboo Hair Care Review

SoapBox Soaps: Bamboo Shampoo and Conditioner Review + Giveaway

bamboo-shampoo-and-conditionerWhen I think of hair care the last ingredient that I consider being included is Bamboo. When I typically think of Bamboo, the image of Pandas run through my head.

Bamboo is an amazing plant and is the fastest growing plant on the planet that can grow 3 feet in height in 24 hours (under appropriate climate conditions). Since bamboo reaches maturity after only 3 to 5 years it makes it a sustainable product perfect for use.

Utilizing this versatile and renewable source SoapBox Soaps has released a new shampoo and conditioner containing bamboo.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of SoapBox Soaps. This post may contain affiliate links, but this in no way influences the review to follow.

I was sent the new 16 oz bottle of *NEW* Bamboo Shampoo and 1 – 16 oz bottle of *NEW* Bamboo Conditioner for review.

As I have mentioned in previous SoapBox Soaps reviews, this company is a small but making a big impact with each product they sell.

Each 16oz bottle of shampoo and conditioner, smelled very good and provided a clean smell. I started my test with the shampoo, of which I used about a quarter size quantity. While there were not as many suds as I was used to, this did not affect the overall function of the shampoo.  Once I rinsed, I applied the conditioner, which was about the same size amount as the conditioner. The conditioner rinsed easily and left my hair soft.

Not only are natural ingredients used in each SoapBox Soaps, they also have a “buy one, they give one”. What this means is that with every product purchased, SoapBox Soaps donates 1 month of clean water. Each product has a code on the packaging, and if you go to the website and enter the code you can see what and where your “buy one, they give one” product went. As seen above, the code from this shampoo went to Nepal!

The company’s wide range of soaps,  is Non-GMO, Vegan, Certified B Corp, EDTA Free, gluten-free, sulfate free, paraben free, and petrochemical free. In addition they use 100% recyclable materials that are made in the USA.

This is an great shampoo and conditioner combo that is renewable and ecological! Each time I use SoapBox Soaps they are exactly what I love about soap – easy to use, smells good and makes a big global impact.

I’m not that picky. I like changing it up and trying new brands so I don’t just stick to one brand and my hair likes it too.

I don’t get to try the expensive stuff very often, so my affordable favorite is Garnier.
