Mrs. Thinster’s: Cookie and Waffle Crisps Giveaway
As winter progresses, the nightly dessert treats that we have lean more towards the homemade. One of this houses favorite desserts are macerated fruit, with a cookie layer on the bottom, homemade whipped cream and cookie crumble topping.
Since we began eating this we have been through a variety of different cookies and crunchy bottoms. Back in October I had the opportunity to review Mrs. Thinsters Cookie’s and I was excited to see if they would be a nice base, as well as topping. I used the Cake Batter flavor which gave my fruit a nice cake flavor. Shortly after that initial review, I had the opportunity to review their new Mrs. Thinster’s Waffle Crisps – which were waffle flavored cookies. I put these under strawberries and made homemade whipped cream with a crumble on top. I am happy to say that each cookie held up well, and absorbed some liquid but still had a crunch.
I would recommend EVERYONE giving these a try – I promise you will not eat just one and the bag will be gone before you know it!!
