Whisker Graphics: Holiday Twine Assortment Giveaway

Whisker Graphics: Holiday Twine Assortment Giveaway

divine-twine-5-packOne of my favorite parts of the holidays is wrapping the presents. I love the challenge of making them look clean and wrapped. The other park about the holidays that I love is the lights and the colors. I love to drive around town and see the lights and decorations.

As I prepare to take on crafts and lots of wrapping, I think of the details. It is in this spirit of thinking of the details that I give you this Holiday Twine Set from Whisker Graphics.

Whole Note Foods Muffin Mix Holiday 2016 Giveaway

Whole Note Baking Mixes – Holiday 2016 Muffin Mix Giveaway

whole-foods-muffin-mixesWhen i think of the the holidays, I think of a potluck style meal, where everybody brings their favorite side dish.

A couple of years ago I got over zealous and made over 7 different types of bread. I searched online, pinning boards and my bread recipe collection. I ended up making a couple of pumpkin bread’s, a couple of banana bread’s, a cranberry-apple bread, and a zucchini bread. The process was laborious and as one baked, another would be loaded into the oven.

Since that holiday, each time there is a potluck, I am the “official” bread baker of the family. With the added awareness of gluten sensitivities, my once simple bread making process has changed and I end up making 1/2 of the breads gluten-free.

With my bread making duties starting and the holidays approaching, I am looking for time-saving ways to create many loafs, minus the work. One way I have learned to save time is to purchase the “base” of the bread from Whole Note Food Company, and add the fresh fruits and vegetables to the mix prior to baking.

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – November 2016 Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – November 2016 Review

When the temperature drops, cold is something that I am familiar with, almost too well. Sadly, my husband and I run at two different temperatures which at times makes for a frustrating and heat variant home.

One of my favorite ways to stay warm is with blankets (I have many stashed throughout hte storage areas in my house), hot beverages and hot showers. I have found that if I can get my core temperature up, I will stay warmer longs.

Upon receipt of the November Peaches and Petals box, I was excited to see a blanket greet me when I opened the box. The theme was “Let’s Smores and Cuddle” and all the items would revolve around this central idea. As with previous months, each item are appropriate, and useful while constantly remaining in theme.

One way I have found that can reverse this disappointment is to purchase a gender neutral but useful gift. If you are looking for such a gift, look no further than Luxor Linens and their complete lines of sheets and robes.

NeoCell: Beauty Infusion – Cranberry Cocktail Review

NeoCell: Beauty Infusion – Cranberry Cocktail Review + Giveaway

beauty-infusions-_-cranberryAs the days march on so does my own aging process, and if there was one thing I was not warned about it is aging. I noticed the symptoms of aging a couple of years ago, when my once thick hair began to thin. Since I was young I have been told that I have the clearest complexion and acne is near a myth in my life – until the past couple years. Ever since this new development I have been looking for ways to help my skin along.

Harnessing the power of collagen NeoCell Laboratories using it to assist in re-engaging the body’s own potential for healing and rejuvenation. I have had the opportunity to review previous NeoCell Laboratories products prior to this review and each time I am not disappointed.

Since I see such a positive result each time I use their products that when I had the opportunity for another review I accepted. I decided to review NeoCell Laboratories Beauty Infusions Cranberry Cocktail.

Late for the Sky: Cat-Opoly Review

Late for the Sky: Cat-Opoly Review + Giveaway

cat-opoly-and-maggeeIt is not a big secret that I love cats, but what may come as a surprise is that I also love board games.

A couple of years ago, on a rainy day, Jason and I ventured to our local toy store with the intention of purchasing a couple of board games. We wanted something nostalgic, something trivial and a property trading type game. After about an hour looking and comparing the various qualities we ended up with three games, of which we played all of them when we got home that day.

At the time I recall wishing that there was a way to fuse my love of cats and my love of games into one spectacular cat themed game. While my idea was on the mark, somebody beat me to the idea with Late for the Sky’s Cat-Opoly.

RTGS Products: 100 Warm White LED Set Review

RTGS Products: 100 Warm White LED Set Review + Giveaway

100-micro-led-setAs we march into the holiday season I have begun thinking about decorations.

I love the idea of something large that will greet visitors to our home. Since I am a DIY gal I began looking online and settled on a cup snowman. Since the easiest way to light up this centerpiece of my holiday decorations the technology of LED lights is the perfect way to light up and keep fire hazards at a minimum.

As luck would have it, as it often does, RTGS Products recently released a new warm white set.

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – September 2016 Review

Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – September 2016 Review

september-2016-box-contentsThe concept of cute and I have never been something that fit together. I never considered things “cute” by societies standards and while that made me a little different from my peers, it also made me unique.

I believe that uniqueness is a quality that many young people are losing. People seem to be more concerned with going with the crowd rather than celebrating what makes them unique. There are many ways to be cute, while keeping your own individuality.

When I saw the September Peaches and Petals box I was happy to see a box that celebrates the concept of uniqueness. The boxes contents all revolve around the “Cuteness Overload” theme and are appropriate, and useful while always remaining in theme.
