Holiday 2018 Giveaway: Silipint Drinkware Set

Be Silly This Holiday with Silipint for the Holidays – Silicone Drinkware Giveaway

I have a confession –  I  have a serious case of slippery fingers and if I am given the opportunity to drop a glass I will take it. Set aside the cleanup issues, this is just unsafe for humans and felines that reside in my house.

As the holidays approach and we have visitors, I will be using my silicone drinkware, and I am thrilled to give you the opportunity to add some Silipint Silicone Drinkware to your cup collection.

Holiday Gift Guide 2018: goDog Holiday Collection Dragon

If there is a word or two I would use to describe Meadow, it would have to be toy destroyer. After I moved into the house with Meadow and began looking around I saw a variable graveyard of chewed toys. From what I can tell she likes to rip the insides out, death by extreme chewing.

In the course of the past couple months I have learned that having durable chew toys is one of the most important things I can provide for her. When I saw the goDog Holiday Collection Dragon with Chew Guard Technology. With the manufacturing technology Chew Guard adds a super tough durable liner to toys making it much more difficult for dogs like Meadow to chew through it.

Since I am a Game of Thrones fan, I knew that I would love having the dragon, and as it turns out it is Meadow first dragon.

Each seam is diuble stitched and reinforced which gives added toughness when dogs get playing.

The jury is still out on long-term sustainability but so far it is in one piece, which is already a win in my house and for Meadow.

Many times when I sit on hold on the phone, I end up doodling – creating shapes and images, but without much order.

From the moment I saw the cover of Kawaii Doodle Cuties – Sketching Super-Cute Stuff From Around the World by Pic Candle for my holiday gift giving I knew it would be filled with cuteness.

The book is broken into categories such as Adorable Food, Precious Nature & Natural Wonders, Enchanting Architecture & Monuments, Lovable Animals & Birds, Charming Transportation, Fetching Fashion, Everyday Cute and Fun Time! Each page is a different “doodle” and provides full illustration about how to draw over 65 images.

As it turns out, Kawaii translates to “cute” which makes the name and theme appropriate for each page in this book. The greatest quality this book has is that it is appropriate for beginners to seasoned artists.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Race Point Publishing. This post may have affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

I am doodler, I always have been. My drawing skills leave something to be desired but my handwriting has always been on point, so really developing doodles from there is a simple proposition.

When I received a copy of The Art of Doodle Words – Turn Your Everyday Doodles Into Cute Hand Lettering by Sarah Alberto for my holiday gift giving I saw a whole new way to add to my doodles.

The book starts with a simple word and the books shows you how to transform the word into doodles using simple lines and cute sketches. The book also shows you how to do the doodle in reverse, starting with a doodle and turning it into a cute illustration of letters and words.

The Art of Doodle Words also provides examples of the letters written in different styles such as cursive, block, and slanted to name a few. Each word is broken down into three steps that result in creative words that can be used in cards and letters.

If you have a doodle fan in your life, get them a copy of The Art of Doodle Words – Turn Your Everyday Doodles Into Cute Hand Lettering by Sarah Alberto this holiday season!
