Geek Fuel Monthly Subscription – August Review
I have spoken before about my conversion over to the dark side, which in my world means gaming. The first experience I had with a game was Assassins Creed 3 – I loved the idea that I could walk around and interact with my environment in a new way in which I never had before in games. The next game that captured my attention was Fallout 3 – Jason was playing it and I found myself spending more time watching him play then I was anything else.
Since Jason saw where I was headed in my world of gaming, he had purchased Fallout: New Vegas, in the eventuality of my gaming evolution (as he referred to it at the time). I began to play Fallout: New Vegas and discovered I really loved the game. From the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System, to the PIP Boy, Mr. House, the exploring and the story and many paths it could take. Undoubtedly, this game fed my love of open world games and showed me what a game could be.
Needless to say I am more than excited that Fallout 4 is coming in a couple of short months and that this fact was mentioned in this months Geek Fuel monthly subscription box. There are few things that pack as much geek themed punch as the monthly subscription box from Geek Fuel. When I received the August themed box and as I have been in previous months, I was eager to see what it contained.
