Smith & Vandiver: Spa..ah Foot Care Collection Review + Giveaway
Summer is approaching, and if the increase in traffic near my coastal home is any indication, it will be a busy summer this year. Each year I use the surrounding area traffic to find out how busy the beach season will be.
As some readers know, I live only about 1/4 mile from the beach, and I see people walking the streets in flip-flops and bare feet daily. The thing that always makes me think is the toll that their feet must suffer from. Then when you add in the beach sand, the water and the walk back, the feet get the abuse.
When you add in the additional wear and tear of the daily use of the feet, there is no doubt that some pampering is not only necessary but essential. Spa…ah Watermint & Tea Tree Heel Repair – I had another brand of Heel Repair and really liked the effect. That was about 5 years ago and I have wanted a replacement ever since. My favorite thing about this was that it did not stain the sheets or leave my socks feeling sludgy and wet.
Spa…ah Watermint Foot Fizzies – These are basically effervescent tablets that use epsom salts to purify and increase circulation and reduce swelling.
Spa…ah Warming Watermint Foot Lotion – This is a shea butter, to soothe tired feet that hydrates with the watermint essential oil.
Spa…ah Warming Watermint Pedicure Scrub – This is a similar to the lotion in smell, and after the first wash, I knew this was good stuff. My feet literally felt lighter after the dead skin was exfoliated off.
Each of the Smith & Vandiver Foot Care products contains Watermint which comes from the Northern European region. Generally you can find this perineal plant in shallow areas of large bodies of water. Pollinated bu insects, the shallow water and acidic soil are ideal breeding grounds for this purple and green.

My favorite thing about summer is walking on the beach. I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and now live by the Saginaw Bay on Lake Huron. My husband and I love to watch the sunset on Lake Michigan best, but surprisingly, the sunset is also lovely on the east side of Michigan – you don’t see the sun go down, but the colors on the water are just beautiful.
