RTGS Products: LED String Lights Review and Giveaway

I recently made a discovery that has changed the lighting choices I make. I have discovered that the addition of LED’s can not only reduce my electricity bill but also add some much-needed light in otherwise dark areas.

The technology of LED lights is nothing new and the most familiar use of LED’s is the calculators that were common for children of the 80’s to use on standardized testing. Now a days LED’s are used in signs, electronic devices and as household ambiance additions.

I was sent a selection of LED lights from RTGS Products. RTGS Products are specialists when it comes to Micro LED lighting and have many varieties and lengths of LED lights available.

The RTGS Products lights I was sent for review were the following:

30 Micro LED String Lights – White – This was a nice 30 light set on 10 feet of wire that came with a remote control. The remote gave us a lot of flexibility for placement. I would not want these on all the time but they really made the area brighter. These would be wonderful if there was a power outage – there was enough light emitted that I could have had a usable lite up work area. This comes with a lockable case to hold the 3 AA batteries, which makes this suitable for outdoor use.

15 Micro LED String Lights – Green – This was a 15 light 6 foot set with a 4 inch separation between each light. This set is powered by Lithium Cell Batteries which get loaded in a battery pack and powered on with a simple on/off switch. The small nature of these strings and battery pack makes this easy to place almost anywhere. As a side note, please keep your lights away from animals, I was closely watching Maggee and made sure she did not chump down – this could give your animal a jolt if they bite down. I would advise using caution around any animal.

20 Micro LED String Lights – Blue – When I installed the blue lights I was so surprised how bright they were. These are powered by 3 AA Batteries, has a 7.5 foot wire with 20 lights and have a simple on and off switch. This has 20 blue LED lights, which add a nice blue hue to any room you are wanting to brighten up.

I have to be honest and tell you that I really loved the lights and plan to purchase more for around my house. I know you are probably wondering where these lights ended up, well the white stayed where I put them, I love the added light. As for the color ones I decided to keep them for a special occasion.

These lights are meant to last more hours then there is in a year of life, so I imagine we will have these for the long haul. I plan to purchase more and use them to add light and life to my front porch and entry-way. Go, light up your life and buy a set!

I would use them on my terrace, to replace my old lights – half of which are missing. But I also like the idea of setting them up indoors for when there’s a power outage. I hadn’t realized how inexpensive and economical this type of lighting is, and it’s beautiful as well.
