Reggie Box Monthly Subscription Review – April Box
There is nothing that can bring happiness to an otherwise overcast day then seeing dogs play. It does not matter if they play with other dogs, their own toys, their humans or a combination of all three! During a recent birthday party for our human best friend, we decided to gift his best friends with a box courtesy of ReggieBox.com.
The Reggie Box is a monthly box that generally has 4-6 full size items. The April Reggie Box had 5 full size items. The box arrived and there is no doubt what company sent this box, due to the stamp with the blue dog on the top of the box. The box comes nicely packaged with white tissue paper. When opened and the tissue paper parts that is when the fun for you and your dog begins. The following was included in this months box:
Fritters for Critters: These came in a round plastic tub with a top that sealed the cookies inside for freshness. The treats we received were bone shaped with end of the cookie dipped in white icing that was then covered in blue sprinkles. The dogs were apprehensive at first to the cookie, but quickly came around to liking them. These retail anywhere from $3.59-$4.19
Scout and Zoe’s Carrot Dog Treats: This was a 6oz package of freeze-dried carrot dog treats. The first pup just pushed it around thinking that if he activated it, maybe it would do a dance for him, the other dog ended up loving them! I guess it is a situation of different animals, different taste buds. These are available for $13.99
Monster Ball Dog Toy: This was a 3.5″ in diameter blue non-toxic rubber vanilla scented ball with a “mouth” to stash treats. We stuffed a couple of pieces of party pepperoni and let the dog attempt to retrieve the treats. This is a thick rubber and should hold up to many throws and returns with your dog. This is available for $4.19-$5.39
Butterfly Rope: This is a totally cute toy that allows for a fun human vs. dog tug of war game. The one that we received was a neon green and black. The other awesome application is if you have 2 dogs, they can play their own game of tug o’ war. This seems to be a strong durable braid that will hold up to lots of tugs. Toys that are similar retail for approximately $6.00 to $8.00
The Barking Box – Animal Shaped Dog Treats: I am a human who loves animal cookies, so when I saw that they were also available for dogs my taste buds did a happy dance. Again this was a situation of 2 different dogs and two different tastes. These are made from human grade and kosher ingredients (no I did not try them myself, although I could have) and are Made in the USA. These are available for $2.93 each box.
Overall this box was filled with a great selection of surprises for dogs, the only potential downside is that depending on your subscription length you may or not find this an overall value. The retail cost of this box came in $29.93 – $34.50 due to varying prices on products. Despite this small cost discrepancy the items were high quality and loved by the dogs and I would highly recommend this monthly subscription! It is nice when we humans get surprises in the mail, and it is even better that our best friends now get a surprise for themselves.
Monthly subscriptions are $30.00/month – pay as you go, $22.00/month – 6 month membership every other month and prepaid , $20.00/month – 12 months membership – prepaid and shipping is included in the cost each month.
