Purr Packs Monthly Subscription Box – “Septempurr” – September 2016 – Review

We are the proud humans to two cats, both of them adopted as kittens from the local shelter. Murfee was first and he started his life with us at a mere 9 weeks old. He was the runt of the litter, found in an open field when he was a couple of days old with no mom or siblings in the area. How he got there and how he survived, as well as found is a mystery to us. Maggee entered our lives when she was a 9 months old, after she had been shuttled from home to home while pregnant.

Our two have been raised together and despite our best efforts are not the “bff’s” we had hoped, although this is not to say they don’t get along, it is just obvious they are not best friends. They are different, and each one has their own likes, own food loves (Murfee loves dairy based treats and Maggee loves everything else!)

There is one time a month that they put aside their differences and join together as the friends we had always hoped – when they get a box curated to them! When I recently got a Purr Packs Monthly Subscription Box these differences were put aside.

My experience started with the box that was addressed to Maggee and Murfee, and I was so happy to see their names spelled properly. This set the tone for the box and I just had a feeling it was going to be good!

Maggee and Murfee received the following in their September Purr Pack –

Ethical Pet Feather Boa Wand: If it dangles and swings around than Maggee and Murfee will like it. Murfee loves to groom the feathers on his toys so we tend to keep them out of reach by the monsters. This toy is a home run!

Cat Scratcher: I have two scratchers that since they were little we have encouraged scratching on pads instead of fabric covered surfaces. The result is that they love these scratch pads and go through them often. It is wonderful to have a new one when the time comes to switch out .

Mad Cat Tabby Taco: How cute is this adorable taco! We are big fans around here of Mexican food and have carne asada burritos at least once a week so I love that we can share that love with the kittens.

Categories Knitty Kitty Balls: I have been wanting to make the cats a ball made of yarn but until I do I wanted to get them these since had seen these in a store recently. I was thrilled when I saw them in this box and immediately gave them to the Maggee to play with. This ball does not roll under the couch or doors, and rolls wonderfully. We hear her playing with this at night, and smile knowing she is having such fun!

Yummy Chummies with Wild Alaska Cod (3 oz) – Maggee loved these, and ate them easily out of my hand! I like to give her treats when she has done something good so we are still working our way through this bag.

Natural Balance Perfect Bites in Salmon (3 oz): These are sitting in our cupboard waiting until Maggee makes it through the other included treats. I think she will love these so much though!

Crazy Cat Lady Notebook by Archie McPhee: Each box contains a treat for human and this was this months human treat – a cute notebook! I plan on putting this in my cat lady purse.

Also included were these two insert about the box and a cat themed podcast!
