Pet Treater Monthly Subscription Box Review – September 2016

september-2016-pet-treaterAs shocking as it seems, we are creeping closer to Meadow’s first birthday and she has grown leaps and bounds since her arrival into our lives.

Each time I see her she has such a excitement to see me, and I feel like it is the first time she is seeing me. When I call my father, I also must say the obligatory hello to Meadow. This past month when we went over to see her, she got some good run time from her human brother-in-law. I had not seen her interact with someone who would give her a good fight, and it was nice to see the teeth bare and the growl present.

Despite the tough demeanor, Meadow remained her sweet self and reminded me that she is “Ain’t Nothing But a Hound Dog” which happened to be this months Pet Treater theme.

The products featured in this post were provided to me free of charge courtesy of Pet Treater/Jammin Butter. This post may contain affiliate links but this in no way will influence the review to follow and all opinions are my own.

Each month I am blown away by the quality and contents of the Pet Treater Box and again is even better than the month before. Meadow is now level out on growth and is settling nicely in to medium size dog so I am reviewing the medium dog box. The August box was a thoughtfully curated and themed box that maintained the theme of “Ain’t Nothing But A Hound Dog”.

Here is a breakdown of the items that were in my/Meadow’s September Pet Treater box:

meadow-and-elvis-toyElvis Presley Blue Suede Shoe Plush Toy: I have mentioned in the past that Meadow is a one dog destruction machine. Each toy is short lived and fleeting in her life. Since she has the propensity to destroy toys we like to stock up on spare toys. Smart girl got a hold of this one and once her paw went on it, we knew it was hers.

furimals-padFurimals: Warming and Cooling Pet Mat: My first thought when I saw this mat was that there was no way that the large dog that is Meadow would ever fit on this tiny mat. My immediate next thought was that it was big enough for two cats named Maggee and Murfee, so I kept this for them. This can be put in the microwave or chilled in the freezer or fridge, making this the perfect bed for any weather. Since our house runs a little cold, I will be using the warming once winter comes.

puppy-cake-cake-mixPuppy Cake – Cheesecake Mix: This is a peanut butter flavored cheesecake that has a coconut crust (allegedly – I did not try this). The instructions are just as simple as a human cheesecake just needing water to make. This can be made in one cake or into cupcakes. I like the cupcake option for ease of serving to the animal. Meadow has a 1st birthday approaching so this will be made for the gathering my father is having to commemorate the special day.

green-toy-and-meadowMultipetGlobopotomous: This is green plastic squeaky toy which is destined to be chewed and chomped to death. She might look sweet and innocent but this is a toy destroyer. Despite that propensity we still gave her this toy.

natural-cookie-guitarEmmie’s Gourmet – Handmade Guitar Treat: This is a Carob Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie that will be given as a gift for the dogs in attendance at Meadow’s gathering.

smores-flavored-and-meadowExclusively Dog – S’mores Flavor Sandwich Cremes: These looked good enough to eat, and lucky for Meadow they are totally dog safe. These smelled good and honestly my father considered trying one, but alas, he did not. Meadow got these after we left, and it was reported that she loved them.

elvis-candleTreats for Human and Dog: Each month Pet Treater includes a present for the guardian of the animal. This month was a Elvis All Shook Up Candle, which is a collection of dogs with items on their heads.

This box never disappoints and always is a fun box to present to Meadow. I think she knows that this special treat comes once a month for her, she seems to know the box now! Get a box and let your dog join the fun!

Pet Treater is a monthly subscription box that is geared 90% toward your dog, and 10% for the human who loves them. Each month the staff at Pet Treater treat’s your best friend with quality times that you both will love. Each box generally include treat’s, a couple of interactive toy’s as well as surprise for the human! Each box is different depending on the breed and size of your dog – and while there is a difference you can expect to receive a box comparable to the one I am showing you here.
